Jackson's POV
Standing out here waiting for Elizabeth is a little boring but she's worth it.
I've met some girls who, even though they are related to someone with Down's syndrome, they just ignore them and try not to be stuck with them. Ugh.
I remember when her brother died she was so, so sad. She started getting in fights and never hung out with any friends.
I just hope she gets better.
"Aren't you supposed to be inside?" I hear someone ask. I look up and see Elizabeth herself.
"I was kind of waiting for you. " I look down on the ground.
Holy crap! Am I blushing?
"Why?" She asks me.
"Because......" I stretch out the word hoping my family realizes that she's here.
I hear my mom whisper, 'now'. Suddenly, we are surrounded by my family and the Hall's, saving me from even more embarrassment.
"Surprise!" They exclaim.

Jared's POV
I'm sitting in my room listening to my iPod when I hear muffled voices yelling out 'Surprise'.
I look out my window and see Elizabeth Hall and that disabled kid surrounded by some parent looking adults.
Looking closer, I see she is staring at some buff Emo looking dude.
He isn't as hot as I am.
Wtf? why'd I just defend myself. I don't even know her, let alone like her.
'Clear your mind Jared!' I scold myself.
Catching one last glimpse of her I see a bright smile on her face, sending my heart racing.
