Chapter 2

Zachs POV:

There was always something different about Austin and Alex's relationship. It was a special kind. They sometimes acted like and old married couple but the ones the still really love each other no matter what would happen. Me and Robert talked about them before, and I mean we talked about how we think they actually "love" each other.

After a while we thought it was stupid and we just forgot about it. But I guess it paid off.

When we were done talking my stomach started to rumble. I was really hunger and I knew Alex would be too.

Food makes everything better so I asked Alex to come to whata burger with me and he wiped his tears and we left saying bye to his parents.

We hopped into my beautiful ride and I started her up. We were heading to the whataburger beside the dominos. The car ride was silent. But occasionally hear Alex mumbling some of the lyrics of songs playing on the radio.

After 10 minutes of driving we get there. I look over to the dominos side while pulling into the parking lot. I see Austin punch a guy in the face. I knew it was austin because he wears the same thing like every week.

I see Nicole run behind him but he pushes her away.

YES! This means they probably broke up! Now Alex can be with Austin!

but only if Austin feels the same about Alex. Should I tell Alex they broke up? Or should I let Austin do it?

nah imma do it. "Alex..." I say as we walk into whataburger. "I think Austin and Nicole just broke up..."

"Zach stop trying to make me feel better it ain't helpin." Alex say and crosses his arms and walks up to the counter.

We both order our food and sit down at a table.

"I'm serious. I saw Austin punch some dude out and the push Nicole away. so I'm pretty sure he found her cheating on him." I say chewing on my fries.

Alex's jaw drops. I wanted to laugh at his expression but I held the urge. "What!? When did you see this!" Alex pauses. "calm down... it's okay Alex... just breath...." Alex starts to whisper to himself.

"whatever. If Austin wants to talk to me he can come to me! I'm done with trying with that boy. He didn't listen to me so why should I try." Alex stuffed his mouth right after he finished his sentence.

"good for you Alex!" I say highfiving him trying to make this less awkward. "Let's go back to yours, we can finish eating there." I say and Alex nods and grabs his food and puts it in his bag.

I know Austin's going to be home and I know he'll try to talk to him.

We get in my car and drive a little faster this time and we get there in about 7 minutes.

Austin's POV:

While I'm walking to Alex's house I start to get a little impatient. My walk slowly turns into a slow jog. Then a sprint. I knew why I was doing this. I knew if I walked to his house I would think of this that would happen and I'll just blow it off. I'm a bit of a over thinker sometimes.

I finally reached Alex's house. wow. It felt like it only took a few minutes. But like the dominos is like 25 minutes away.

I slowly approach the down grasping for air. I finally start to breath normally and I ring the door bell. Alex's mom opens the door. "Hi honey."

"Hey Mrs. Constancio is Alex home?" I say looking around over her shoulder.

"no, sorry Austin he isn't here." she steps away from the door.

"um can I wait for him in his room?" I say scratching the back of my head. "Sure Austin, he'll probably be home soon."

"thank you!" I kiss her on the cheek and I run up to his room. I sit on his bed and I start to think.

What am I going to do? What am I going to say?

Aha! I know what to do! it's a perfect idea. But it can back fire. really badly.

I hear the voice of Alex and Zach but Alex's was louder and I started to here foot steps. I quickly stood up. The door knob started to turn.

I start to whisper to myself. "1."

Alex opens the door and he looks confused "2." I whisper again. "Austin?" Alex starts to walk closer.

"3!" I whispered a little bit louder and grabbed Alex's wrist and pulled him closer to me and I kissed him.

I kissed him. I actually kissed him. Alex just stood there. I was so embarrassed I ran out of his room, and I ran home.

What did I just do?!
