CHAPTER EIGHT
Jack's P.O.V
You have got to be kidding me. He's with her. Again. I'm never gonna finish my plan if he's there all the time. Damn it! She's getting extra for this later.
NO ONES P.O.V
"Babe, I hope you know that I love you."
Mason smiles at her sweetly, "I know, Meerkat. I love you too."
"I love you more!"
"But I love you most," He says as he kisses her softly. "You're my everything. Never forget that."
"I'll never forget it. Ever." She says sweetly.
Mason's P.O.V
If it was up to me, she'd never leave my sight, but its not up to me. On the bright side, Danny lives a few doors down, so I know she has someone to go to if HE comes after her. She's my everything, I honestly have no idea what I'd do if I lost her. Maybe I'd buy a cat or something, I don't know.
"Bye, baby girl. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Okay! Toodles!"
As I walk out, Danny is walking in.
"Keep her safe," I whispered to him.
"I will, I swear."
Danny's P.O.V
Miranda's my best friend, Mason should know I'll always keep her safe. She's just so sweet, its hard not to want to.
"Meerkat, I'm here."
"I'm in the kitchen," She yells from a distance, "just make yourself at home."
I walk into the kitchen and wrap my arms around her waist from behind, "I think I can manage that."
She blushes a bright, cherry red color, "Good."
She's so cute when she blushes, I just want to wrap her up in my arms and never let her go.
She turns around and looks at me slowly, "Danny?"
"Yeah?" I say as I look back at her.
"I..." She looks up and leans in slowly, I don't even realize what's happening until her soft lips meet mine. She tastes sweet, like cherries. I never want this moment to end, so I slowly wrap my arms around her waist and pull her closer to me. She licks my bottom lip and I let her in immediatly. After a couple minutes of this, she pulls aways and looks up at me.
"I'm sorry,,, I just, I've always wanted to do that. It just feels... Right."
I smile at her and pull her into a hug, "It's quite alright, Meerkat. I don't mind at all."
