CHAPTER TWELVE
Sometimes I wonder how I got so many amazing people in my life. I mean I have amazing friends and the best boyfriend I could ever ask for, I just don't understand. I have so much baggage and so many scars, how could anyone treat me this good when everyone else always treated me badly? These are the words running through my mind as I watch Mason leave my house. I lock up the door and walk to the kitchen to find Rob making tea.
"You drink tea?" I ask.
He laughs, "Yeah, sometimes. If its made right."
I laugh, "You're such a penis cake."
"I used to say that all the time." He states.
"I guess great minds think a like, then. You've got good taste in insults." I laugh and walk to my room. I haven't seen Jack in 3 days. I can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Maybe he finally got put where he belongs. Wherever he is, I'm glad its not here. I really hope Rob never has to meet him, he would freak if he found out there was a guy living here. Why, you ask? Because I never let him stay the night.
There's a knock at the door.
"Fanfuckingtastic." I say to myself as I go to the door. You'll never guess who it was.
"What do you want?"
"I just want to talk. Can I come in?"
"Nope."
He grabs the collar of my shirt, "what did you just say to me?"
"I-I, s-sure. Come in."
He releases me and walks inside slowly, looking around. "Got any food?" He walks into the kitchen and spots Rob.
Oh shit. "Um, Jack, this is Rob, Andi's cousin. Rob, this is Jack."
Jack looks him up and down like he's an alien. "I don't care, I just want some food." He rummages through the fridge and pulls out leftover pizza.
"Rob, could you give us a minute?"
"Sure. I'll be in my room." He says then disappears up the stairs.
Jack drops his pizza and looks at me with pure anger in his eyes.
