Crystal blue, the color.
Protective, the act.
Caring, the heart.
"I love u" He said.
Warm in the embrace.
Sweet in public.
Amazing anywhere.
The only one I'd date.
"I trust you." I said.
He took that to soul and used it as a shield.
As a boat to stay above the water.
And a light to keep away the dark.

The lost sailor, following his North Star to the shore.
In a ruthless sea of loneliness.
For when you're put on the brink of death,
you remember you have something to live for.

To find the shore...
To lead the sailor...

"I will shine, my following little boy. I will burn brightest for you."

"I'll keep going, my glistening little girl. I'll follow 'til death for you."

...

When the stars and the horizon meet, the shore exists, and the sailor can call home.
And where the sailor can call home, is where the stars show their true colors.
But the sailor burns too, blue, red, and yellow.
For to the star he followed for so long, he was the true star.
For she never would've shone if it weren't for him, the sailor boy.

The North bound star he followed, would've burnt out if she didn't have something to light the way for.
And fuel to her fire was him keeping on that course through the waves and heat, the stills and cold.

I stayed alive because he was still there.
He stayed alive because I was still there.
We live for each other.
Him with the crystal blue.
The protective.
The caring.

...

I love u
