Chapter 19[Dresses]

The minute all three of us stepped foot in the mall Pepper and Nat both grabbed my arms and dragged me into a dress store.

They both looked for their own dress as I stood at the entrance of the store looking as awkward as ever.

Now let's take a blast to my past for a second. I'm not a girly girl but neither a tomboy, I'm a mix of both. Not once have I ever been in a dress, even when I was in school and it came to prom everyone was going but I stayed home to watch some shows with Hasai and a bucket of ice cream.

Now back to the present I'm a lost puppy in the world of girly girl. All these dresses either look too long or too short or they're too flashy or don't look good at all. Luckily an employee saw me looked confused and helped me out.

"Hello sweetie." She seemed to be a grandma. "You need help?"

"Yes please."

"Never worn a dress before?" She asked and I shook my head. She chuckled a bit. "Don't worry dear I was once in your shoes. Now tell me what kind of color you want and what type of event it is."

"Um, it's a formal event. Ya know people meet people, that kind of stuff. For my color maybe something light, like alight pink or pale color. Please done make it too short or too long." The grandma lady chuckled once more before telling me to follow her.

She handed my a few dresses and told me to change. At first it was just her looking at each dress but soon Pepper and Nat joined in and all three ladies would tell me if the dress was good or not.

It was at the last dress that they loved. The shirt was see through so my sports bra was visible but there were jewels and such on it. The skirt itself went from my waist to just a bit above my knees and was a light pink color.

"I think we have a winner ladies." The grandma lady said to Pep and Nat, both ladies agreed.

I just felt happy when I put my pants, shirt, and Bucky's jacket all back on, along with my light brown fedora.

In my arms were the dresses but in my right hand held the winner dress.

Pepper had payed for the three dresses with Tony's card. Soon they dragged me into a jewelry story were another employee had to help me find some accessories. In the end I got a pair of nice looking earrings and a silver bracelet that would go on my right arm.

After that store I was dragged to a shoe store where Pepper, Nat, and another employee helped me find some nice light pink flats that went with the dress.

Just when I thought the torture of shopping had ended both ladies dragged me into Victoria Secret, the only store where I picked out a nice light pink strapless bra that went well with the dress.

Even then both ladies took me to another story for makeup. They got all kinds of lipstick, eyeshadow, blush, highlights, eyeliner, and so many other makeup things that I don't remember the name of.

By the time everything was over it was 5:37 pm and Pepper had informed me and Nat that the party starts at 10 giving us five hours to get dressed and ready.

The girls had dropped me off at my room and said they would come by later to help me since I didn't know squat diddly shit about makeup and getting ready for parties.

I collapsed on the bed as the four bags landed on the floor beside my bed. At first there was peace and quite but then everything had to get ruined by a knock.

"Come in!" I yelled but it was a bit muddled due to my face being buried in the light blue sheets.

"I guess shopping isn't your thing?" Bucky asked and I nodded my head before lifting my head to face him.
