As everyone was talking with one another I couldn't help but worry. Since that slow song had ended and that chill was sent throughout my spine I've been on high alert.
"Julie? Juliana!" Snapping out of the trance I looked at not Bucky but Nat.
"Yes?"
"Are you alright? Bucky started to get a little worried when you didn't responde to him so he got me to talk to you."
"I'm fine." She narrowed her eyes at me then shook her head.
"Nope. Something is clearly bugging you."
Sighing, knowing I can't hide anything with an assassin I started to speak. "Whenever I get chills down my spine something bad is going to happen or is already happing." She raised a perfect eyebrow at me.
"That's what's been bothering you? Chills?" I knew she wouldn't believe me.
"You may not believe me but something is going to happen." She rolled her eyes at me before leaving to somewhere else.
Bucky then sat down beside me once more. "Nat told me what happened. A chill actually went down your spine?" I nodded my head. "Why didn't you say anything, it would have made so much more sense." That's the thing I love about Bucky, from the time we spent together he learned that me spine chills are never wrong with it comes to danger.
"Didn't want to ruin the moment."
"We had a moment?" He asked and I smiled at him.
"Yes we did. It was a real nice one in fact." He smiled at me once more.
For the whole night we watched out for anything out of the ordinary or unnatural. At some point I met Rhode, dads friend who is also Iron Patriot but I like his old name better: War Machine. It was funny too cause I've already met Rhode once for a mission with the President.
Later that night I met Sam who was friends with Steve and Nat. He had helped them during the whole fiasco with Bucky and SHIELD. He's also the Falcon which I think is a cool name.
By twelve at the night everyone had left other than Rhode, Same, Bucky, and the other Avengers. We all sat at the bar while dad was drinking something alcoholic.
"Are you two still on high alert?" Nat asked and we both nodded our heads.
"High alert?" Bruce asked.
"Julie got chills down her spine when the slow dance had ended. She says something is going to happen or is already happening." That's caught Rhode's attention.
"Chills down her spine?" Nat nodded her head and he went on high already as well.
"Wait you guys actually believe her?" Dad asked to the two soldiers and they nodded their heads.
"If you knew her well enough you would know that chills down her spine meant something is coming." Rhode responded and the other just ignored us as they talked amongst themselves.
Near the entrance of the hallway something seemed to shine in the moonlight. No matter how hard I tried to ignore it the shine would always catch my eyes.
"I'll be right back Buck." His only response was a head nod.
Reaching to the top of my left thigh I took out a black dagger and held it close and tight in my grasp.
Behind me the talking was more quieter but when I found the shiny object was a coin all noise was dead silent.
A chill ran throughout my spine and I turn around to find darkness. You've got to be fucking me. Looking back at where the coin, here was also darkness. I was in a void of darkness.
