Chapter 31[BINGO Was His Name O']

"We should get going Bucky. We still need to find the rest of the team." I got up from piano seat but turned to look at Bucky. "Unless you know where they are?"

"Sorry to burst your bubble but I was knocked out." Sighing in defeat we both made our way back into the elevator where we rode to the main floor.

Once there I started to flip Thor's hammer from hand to hand once more. From the corner of my left eye I saw Bucky no longer walking beside me.

Stopping in my tracks I turned to him to find in awe. "Is there something wrong?"

"Y-your holding Thor's hammer." I nodded my head slowly.

"Ya so? Can't you?" He shook his head. "Wait? You can't hold the hammer?"

"Thor said those who are worthy can hold it."

"No way! Try to hold it. I need to see it with my own eyes." Putting the hammer down Bucky gripped the handle and I could see if trying but it didn't lift.

"Told you." Gripping the handle myself I lifted it with ease.

"Lady Stark!" Turning around Thor looked at me before rushing at Bucky.

"Thor! It's cool!" I blocked his path from Bucky. "Bucky's back. I promise you no harm will come from him."

Thor looked at Bucky once more before looking at me. "Very well Lady Stark."

"Great! Now let's g-" I was cut off by a beeping. "Alize?" Running into the living room the HYDRA symbol showed once more on the screen.

The screen then switched to them bound in chairs. "I see The Winter Soldier couldn't get to you. More like you got him." There was a chuckle at the end of the line. "Pity, really. I was hoping for some real action."

"Bitch."

"What was that dear?"

"I said bitch. Don't you understand English?"

"I understand more languages than you ever will darling. I've got you're family here and being tortured. Your father and everyone else have hope that you'll come and save them."

"You know what douche bag?" I started walking up to the screen. "They've been through worst. All of them. I've been through worst. HYDRA came after me before they were out into the light. Centipede has been after me. A.I.M has been after me. God damn it, even the U.S government has been after me. All have failed. You really try to get under my skin but what you don't know is that happened long ago. Many many years ago one person had gotten under my skin and used that to their advantage to get to me. That person was my mother. She taught me to always stay strong and to never let a person get under my skin because if they do they would use it to my advantage. My mother was someone who went off the grip years ago. Serpent was my mother. She had taught me everything she knew. So try as hard as you want but you'll fail." The screen turned black and I turn to look at Bucky.

"Carter was Serpent?" I nodded my head.

"Who is this Serpent you speak of?" Thor asked.

"Back then there used to be this top notch villain named Serpent. People said that her life of crime started off at a young age which is true. At first it started with robbing people and their homes but that turned into robbing from banks and other famous buildings. Soon she went world wide. Going from country to country stealing the most valuable and priceless things in the world. She managed to even still the oldest things in the world. People said that she hide all the valuables she stole somewhere hidden. They tried looking for her things but never found it. That all stopped when she was pregnant with a child. That child being me."
