I woke up with a screaming headache and a turning stomach. I gagged a few times feeling like I needed to be sick but nothing came up. Feeling a Warmth on my back move up and down. Thinking it was Luca I turned to thank him. Instead, I found Blake behind me a look of concern on his face while a look of shock came onto mine. Since Blake has been around I haven't been able to feel his touch. My powers were growing and if Blake could touch me and I feel it, then other ghosts could too. It wasn't a prospect that I was looking forward to. The sound of the car door opening made me jump. Luca smirked and pointed to a rundown house. That looked like it would fall at any time. "Come on the person that owns the place can get us everything we need." I slowly stepped out of the car. The feeling of nausea still making my stomach roll. Each step took more energy out of me. Making my head and eyes hurt with my fast coming exhaustion. We stepped inside the house and the smell of incense enveloped us both. I could see Blake shifting in and out of rooms. Making the smoke of the incense swirl and shift. Luca was always gazing into each room we passed. We finally came to the back of the house where Bright sunlight poured into a brighter yellow kitchen. Where a woman sat with two Serval cats laying lazily on a table. Her brown hair full of braids and wrapped in a bun on top of her head. Her caramel skin seemed to glow from the sun pouring into the room. She sat sipping tea and speaking sweetly to her cats. I watched as Blake appeared behind the women arms crossed smiling down at her. Luca reached out petting the one serval closest to him, gaining her attention. Her eyes immediately landed on me before she fully spoke to Luca. She didn't cringe back to her credit. She did study me closely making me feel uncomfortable. The cats stood and began pacing back and forth both agitated. Luca mesally put out his hand calming both Serval's as he smiled at the women. She scoffed at him but a fond smile took over her face. "Luca It's been a long time since I saw you last. What brings you here with the girl." Luca strode to the fridge seeming at ease and at home. Making me wonder just who this woman was. Luca didn't seem the type to have friends or any family. "Aria meet Asha." I stood by the table trying not to show how the cats were making me uncomfortable. Blake appeared beside me his hand reaching out to touch my arm. Sending a small amount a warmth there, surprising me in the process. "who may you be?" The women wasn't looking at me but at Blake. I looked between the two as Blake moved to stand in front of me. He spoke some words that I couldn't hear but clearly she could. Every once in awhile she would look quickly at me before focusing back on Blake. "So it's true the queen's father is preforming experiments." The woman stood and walked over to the sink setting her tea cup in it gently. Lost in her thoughts as she walked around the kitchen gathering a few things here and there. She mashed and mixed and then poured hot water over it. Letting whatever steep before handing it to me. I sniffed the concoction knowing full well I shouldn't have. Number one rule of being a healer never smell the potions or ointments. Most are very foul smelling and even disgusting looking. It never bode well to poke and prod them before taking them. I chocked back my disgust and quickly downed the potion. Instantly my headache was gone and my eyes quite burning. "She has necromancer magic, But her witch magic is warring with it." I put the cup down on the counter behind me. As I processed what she was saying. Luca kicked back and put his feet up on the table much to Asha distaste. Her nose wrinkled and as she swatted his feet down. "I know what you are trying to get at Asha but for my sake explain." She rolled her eyes as she began putting together a tin full of the medicine she gave me. "She will die if she doesn't learn how to control her necromancer magic or if someone doesn't revoke them. But be warned it would take a very powerful witch to do so, and the pain would be more then you can bare." I sunk down into a chair and finally cried for the first time during this whole ordeal. I was going to die and there was nothing I could do about it. Even if we made it to my grandmother who is the strongest witch I know. There was no way she could take the necromancer magic from me. Learning to control the magic was out the window. Necromancy was much the same as witch magic. It took extensive training to prefect, training that took years. I didn't think I had that time. I felt someone lay their hand on my shoulder and squeeze expecting Asha I looked up to thank her. I was surprised to Luca his face set in a determined look. "We'll find a way to help you Aria don't give up hope just yet." I sucked in a shaking breath and nodded. Although in my heart I knew my time was limited, before I die though I needed to help Blake and Luca. To help them both find their peace in this world. That was my new purpose that I had to work for. I looked to both of the men who were watching me with their own determination. That I knew was lost on me.
