The Dollhouse

Part 3

October 29th 1925, Holly got news from the police chief that Edward Fawn had escaped from jail and that he was planning to harm his daughter Rose.They found letters and written plans for the death of Rose but not for Juliet.There was no record of him planning to harm Juliet only Rose.Holly explained to the girls that they had to hide in the attic because a man escape jail, although she did not say who, both girls had a awful feeling.Holly organized the attic so it was perfect for the girls so they would be comfy. There was a chest that had their dolls in and their mother's old dresses surrounded them.They had makeshift beds that were made of three thick warm blankets,for the attic got very cold at night, and each girl had four big fluffy pillows.

The first day of sleeping in the attic was alright, both girls enjoyed eachother's company and Holly continually brought up meals and snacks for the two which they loved eating her food.

It was October 31st 1925 when Holly heard a knocking on the front door,when she opened it no one was there. Concerned, she walks out the front door and carefully walks into the dark woods. She walks a bit deeper into the wooded area when she hears the crackle of fallen dead leaves being stepped on, turning around she tries calling out

"Who's there"? But there is no answer, not bothering to walk any farther into the woods Holly turns back to the house but before she could take another step a hand was placed on her shoulder. Stunned, she turns around and her eyes are met with Edward Fallen's.Before she could scream he covers her mouth with one hand and pushes her to the ground with the other, from his back pocket he reveals a large knife, Holly saw the glare of the moonlight shine off the metal object. Edward gives her a sinister grin as he plunges the knife into her stomach, her screams are muffled by his hand as he continually stabs her.Suddenly her screams stop. He takes his hand off her mouth as he admires his work, her chest and stomach are pouring out blood at least fifty jagged wounds are on her body. After wiping off his hands in the leaves he steps over Holly's mutilated body and continues to the house.

Once he got to the front door he slowly opens it , he walks up the stairs looking all over the house he still can not find the two girl after the last room he checked his anger started to show, frustrated he throws the sharp knife into the wall creating a hole. Pulling the knife out of the wall he hears a faint gasp, smiling cruelly he follows the sound to the attic door. He pulls down the string and the cracked stairs fall down. He continues to walk up the cracked stairs into the attic. Having his knife in one hand he walks deeper into the attic until he reaches the area the girls are playing with their dolls. Sickly smiling he calls to the girls,

"Oh have I missed you two"

Rose whimpers and hides behind Juliet as their father calls out to Juliet,

"Honey move I do not want to hurt you," He continues "you're such a good girl Juliet now move so I may see your sister.".

Juliet didn't move and soon a trembling Rose moves away from her older sister. Edward just smiles as he sees Rose come in front of Juliet.

"I'm sorry, I love you Juliet" Rose whispers as she quickly turned and hugged her older sister.

Before Juliet could think she watches as her father tried to stab her sister. Rose screams as Juliet throws herself in front of the sharp weapon. Juliet's body falls onto the floor with the knife still in her stomach as she quietly whispers to Rose,

"I love you my little sister".At that moment Rose watched the light fade out of Juliet's eyes.
