The Dollhouse

Part 2

 A year later, Juliet and Rose are now 14 and 12 years old.The pair have come to realize that lately their father has been drinking a lot. It is the anniversary of their mother's death and he is not taking it well. At around 7 at night the girls were playing with their two favorite dolls they got after their mother's death. Juliet's doll looked almost exactly like her, she had curly black hair,bright blue eyes,and light pink lips. The doll was wearing a gorgeous light purple dress with shiny black flats that had small purple bows on the ends and in her hair was a cute light purple bow. Rose's doll was very different though, she still looked like Rose, she had straight dirty blonde hair, dark brown eyes,and pale lips. Her dress was a dark green and she had ripped brown boots, on her head she had a messy dark green bow,her doll wasn't as new as Juliet's. She was confused, did their father do it on purpose? Was she not worthy of a new doll? All the questions made her distressed, did her father favor Juliet?Rose decided to question her father.

"Father," Rose called, "why did Juliet get a new doll but I didn't"?

Her father looked at her outraged, "What is your doll not good enough for you"!

"No, no father I love her I was just wonder..." Edward cut her off,

"You ungrateful brat, you are jealous of your sister", he kept going "you are exactly like your mother you look the same,act the same I hate it".

Rose runs into her bedroom where Juliet is playing with her doll. She jumps onto her bed as tears fall down her cheeks she curls up hugging her pillow. Juliet has no idea what is going on but when she tries to comfort her sister,Rose just pushing her away, giving up she blows out the candle that lit their shared room and laid down in her own bed peacefully falling asleep.

The next morning both girls wake up and go downstairs to eat breakfast but what they find is their father and a bunch of his friends passed out in the living room.Juliet quickly pulls Rose out the front door and both of them run to their neighbors house. Mrs.Lillian opens her front door to the two girls letting them come into her home for some food.After they explain what happened Mrs. Lillian's husband heads over to see what was going on in the Fawn household. When he opens the front door he is disgusted by what he saw,Mr.Fawn and his friends had vomited all over the room it smelled horrid.Mr.Lillian called the police to see the mess in the home they were disgusted by the scene and Mr.Fawn was arrested along with his friends.

Their mother's sister, Holly came to watch the girls she moved into the home. On October 20th 1925 everything was settled and the two girls couldn't have been happier. They had their Aunt who was an excellent cook and artist, their father was placed in jail and they did not have any idea when he was to be released but at the moment they could careless.
