Pain was all he felt when he woke up.
There was blinding pain from his badly cut up legs.
A numbing pain from the headache he sustained from the alcohol.
And a world of pain as he knew what was coming to him.
The second thing he felt was an overwhelming sense of exhaustion. "He's been out for days," he heard his doctor say, sounding visibly frustrated. "He'll wake up, but this is extremely frustrating for us."
Josh was surprised to find that he wasn't restrained to his bed. He wasn't surprised when he looked around to see more security in the room than before.
No, he expected that after he bolted for the window.
All he managed to do was break the glass with his hand. Remembering that caused the male to look at both of his hands, bandaged from the tips of his fingers to his elbows. He really fucked up this time.
But, instead of listening to the doctor calling his name, Josh laid his head back against the bed weakly, shutting his eyes.
He was tired.
More like, he didn't want to face reality yet.--
He woke up about an hour later, and turned his head to the side to see his doctor.
'Well, shit,' He thought. 'Can't keep dodging this forever.'
Minutes passed. The doctor asked Josh questions, and he answered. But when he was done, Josh felt a pit growing in his stomach. He knew what the doctor would say. He wanted to keep dodging his family, his friends...Specifically, he wanted to keep dodging Tyler.
So when the doctor said, "There's someone who's been waiting for you," Josh cringed.
"N-Name?" He stuttered out hoarsely.
"He said his name was Tyler Joseph."
'Shit,' was his only thought after that.
He really fucked up this time.
"...Can't avoid him forever," Josh said sadly -- a social cue to hesitantly let Tyler in.
