Josh grabbed Tyler's hand softly, only staring at the roof for a few moments before whispering, "It was my fault."
He was tired. Josh made that clear as he held his friend's hand, gently rubbing it with his bandaged fingers to calm him down. His grip was gentle and caring, but would falter at times.
Another flicker went through his mind, as if it were mocking him. As if it was trying to break him.
"I did this..I deserved this..you don't.."
He couldn't look at Tyler anymore. The guilt was immense.
