Behind me stood a devilishly handsome man. He appeared to be around my age, but a little older. His eyes were a beautiful shade a blue; they appeared to have a bit of grey in them, but that just added to his beauty. His hair was a reddish brown color, and it looked like I could run my hands through them all day.
I just realized that I had been staring at this guy that I had never seen before today for about 3 minutes. He probably thought I was a creep.
Wait a minute he was the one in my backyard without permission, he was the creep.
"Wh-what are you doing in my backyard?" I stumbled on my words, no one had ever made me this nervous before.
"I suppose it was quite rude of me to come onto your property without a proper introduction." His voice was smooth, it made me want to invite him into my house.
"Uh, you want to come inside?" What was wrong with me, this is a complete stranger than I was inviting into my house.
"I would love to." He had a sinister smirk on his face; it was alarming. I led him into my home, I still had I weird feeling about this, but it was like it really wasn't my choice.
I opened up this sliding door and motioned for him to come in. "So what's your name anyway?" I asked wanting to get to know this stranger that I allowed in my house.
"I'm Sebastian Salvatore, and you are?"
"Auburn McCoy, nice to meet you." I said extended my hand so he could shake it. My hand was extended for awhile before he actually shook it. His hand was firm, my hand was shaking and sweaty.
"You seem nervous, is there a reason?" I looked me directly in the eye.
"U-um I'm not nervous maybe you're reading into this a little to much." I said looking everywhere other than his eyes. We were opposite sides of my couch, and he was getting closer.
He was about a few inches away from me when he said, "Lovely house you have here."
"Uh yeah, I did it myself." I said taking pride in my work.
"You have quite a talent don't you. Are you an interior designer."
"No, actually I'm and artist." I said smiling to myself, think about all of my artwork.
"Can I see some of your work?" He seemed like he genuinely wanted to see some of my work.
"Sure, why not." I decided to show him the piece that I had been working on in the yard earlier of the realistic naked woman. "Do you like it?" I don't know what his opinion matter so much to me I barely knew this guy.
"It's amazing; you get paid for this right?"
"I do, people seem to really like my work." His words mean the world to me right now, it's not like critics haven't praised my work before. Why do I value his opinion so much?
"That's great." His smile was warm and inviting, he should smile more often.
"Do you want to go back inside now?" I asked, it looked like it was about to rain and it would be best if we headed inside.
"Sure." We went back Inside and as I said it started rain right after we got back inside. I checked the weather on my phone and it said it's going to be raining all night. Sebastian would never make it home safe.
"Uh, I just checked the weather and it looks like it's going to look be this all night. You could stay here if you'd like."
"Thank you so much, you're so kind." This was definitely my act of kindness for the week.
"I'll go prepare the guest room." I went to the guest room closest to my room and got some sheets to put on the bed. The room wasn't too small, but it definitely wasn't as big as my room. It had a connecting bathroom if he needed to go in the middle of the night or something. I heard the door open.
"So this is the room?" Did he not like it.
"Yeah, is there a problem?" I asked turning to face him.
"No definitely not, just wanted to know." He reassured me. He started getting closer to me.
"Why are you getting closer." I said backing up. I kept backing up until I hit a wall.
"Nothing, this shouldn't hurt to much." He said the lasr part to himself. He looked directly into my eyes and I found myself getting sleepy. Black dots surrounded my vision until I couldn't see anything.
The last thing I heard was Sebastian's voice saying, "Good night Auburn."
