Throughout the next few months we write letters back and forth. Angelica keeps getting more and more jealous, but this is how she has always been since boarding school. Our letters consist of things like how our day has been and saying how much we love each other.
More important matters is that Samuel gets to meet father and ask for his praise today. I am so excited. I just can't wait. He strolls into the sitting room with a cheesy smile on his face holding a beautiful ring. the ring looked like it had hundreds of diamonds. I was helpless and speechless. No one has ever taken my breath away like he did that day.
Months pass,people come and go. then Samuel gets a letter from general Jefferson that said, "Samuel we hate to bother you but we saw your performance in primary school and we would like to recruit you for the summer but if you impress us then we will keep you for much longer."
Samuel hands me the letter, i read it then we argue a little because i just can't let him go like that because my father died in battle and to have that image of Samuel dying in battle is just too much for me. I go stay with Angelica to go talk to her about it and she said,"what are you doing here instead of spending time with your husband?" i just left.
