Elizabeth finally was persuaded to leave her home to go to a kingdom's ball. At this ball so many gentlemen catch a glimpse of her and are impressed. Will cheesy pick-up lines steal her heart or will these guys really have to work for her?
Three weeks past and i finally get a letter from him.
It stated,
My dearest Elizabeth,
i have been meaning to inform you that i will not be making it home for summer because general Jefferson was impressed and wants me to stay. I am very sorry, but I can visit soon, hopefully.

As I read the letter tears start to flow down my face, my heart feels as if someone has planted a bomb on it, and I just want to jump off of the top floor of my home. At that moment Angelica walks in and sees me crying my eyes out and she reads the letter I received. She starts crying as well, but not as much as I am.
Once we clear our eyes and are able to speak she says, "Don't forget we have a mandatory town meeting."
I just nod my head then I go to pick my outfit, a dress Samuel bought me. It is long, bright blue, and has a lot of glitter. The heels I wear are rose gold with a really pretty ribbon tied to them.
