Angelica and I went to the meeting. We walked in and everyone was gathered but for what? The first person we found a young woman who looked so familiar, like we had seen her before. Her name was Peggy, and she never said her last name. This girl had long, beautiful, wavy, brown hair. The only time I have seen her was at these meetings which are either for emergencies or just once a year just to see how the city is doing. This girl had a nice, welcoming voice, unlike mine which is the opposite of what people want to hear. The meeting was just to make sure we are all okay, well most of it was. The almost last sentence from the mayor was to thank all who are going to be fighting this summer. I just left in tears. No one really noticed except for Angelica, but she was speaking, like she always has done at these meetings, so I just went home.
