William's POV

I stood in the exact spot that I usually do in the morning with my group of friends and awaited her arrival. She usually showed up by now and suddenly the doors were opened by her and her friends. Blonde hair cascading down around her face and a beautiful pink dress with knee high gray boots to make her look older than her age. She wore natural looking make up and her famous red lipstick she wore only on special occasions. Her laugh surrounds me and I wonder what was so funny.

"Earth to Willhelm!" My best friend, Chris, yells at me which makes every single one of my friends laugh. I roll my eyes and walk away angrily in hopes of seeing her beauty once more before the first bell rings. I walk the surrounding halls that I've seen her in before and suddenly I catch a glimpse of her as I knock her to the ground.

"Holy shit. Grace I'm so sorry." I say kindly while picking up the books that scattered on the floor. I pick them up for her and then extend a hand out. She smiles at my kindness and grabs ahold of my hand to steady herself. As her fingers touch my skin, a jolt of electricity sends through my body.

"It's fine. I should've been paying attention to where I was going." She says with her sweet voice that covered me with warmth. I handed her her textbooks and folders kindly and she smiled at me being generous to pick them up.

"Your name is William, right? Best friends with Chris?" She says as her pale blue eyes stare into my brown ones.

"Yeah. We have Physics together as well." I say smoothly, trying to contain my excitement level.

"That's right!" She exclaims and we both laugh in sync for a moment in time. I smile and she stares at the floor.

"Well I guess I better get going before the bell rings." She says to break up the now awkward silence. I nod instead of speaking because I knew my answer would be "DONT GO! LET ME LOVE YOU!" She smiles and then walks past me swiftly as the bell finally rings.

I turn to watch her leave and I can't help but love her a little bit more than I had yesterday. I make my way down the hall that I had been standing for nearly 10 minutes now and get to my AP English class a millisecond before the bell rings. My teacher stands in front of the class and nods my way as a signal for me to sit down in my spot. One of Grace's friends sits next to me and she laughs seeing me struggle to my seat.

"Let me guess you ran into her again and fell in love again." She laughs because she knows that she hit the nail on the head and I flip her off.

"Izzy and William. Shut up and stop flirting." Our teacher yelled and everyone laughed. I laughed too and Izzy gave me a weird look as if she was thinking that I'm an ugly monster.

...

I walked to my car after 6th since I had 7th and 8th off and as I did, I watched Grace stand out in the cold. Waiting for someone in particular who had let my beautiful princess stand in the cold to wait for them. I never knew that she had both of these periods off. I stare at her for a little longer and watch her answer a call. I can faintly hear her talk.

"No it's okay. I'll see if I can get a ride home with someone else." She says into her rose gold iPhone 7. I jump into my black BMW and I rush to the front of the school where she stands. I pull up slowly and go past her before placing my car in park and running out to talk to her.

"You look cold." I say to break the ice.

"Oh. I'm fine. I was just about to go back in."

"Oh. Why? I saw you waiting here all by yourself and thought I would come assess the situation." I say which makes her laugh a petite giggle.

"My sister was supposed to come pick me up but she had to run errands for my mom so now I don't have a ride home." She says with a small frown on her face.

"Oh well it's your lucky day because I am on my way home and well...I mean I don't want you to think that I'm some creep or anything but I.." Then before I can finish my sentence she speaks.

"I would love a ride home William." My heart skips a beat hearing those words and suddenly I am escorting THE Grace Loncar to my car. I open the passenger side door for her and she gets in. I rush over to the driver side and as I get in she speaks up again.

"Actually, can we go somewhere else besides my house?" I look at her and she has a hopeful look on her face. Her eyes are begging for me to say yes and my heart gives in.

"Of course. Just tell me where." I say and she smiles at me, revealing her sparkling white teeth.

"I know a place. Just drive for now." I oblige her orders and I drive for now with the love of my life in the passenger seat.
