Chapter 2: Great, our Sensai hates us

I get out of my seat with my lunch and look for Hinata. As I walk out of the Academy doors, Kiba waves towards me.

I force a smile.  Why on earth couldn't I be on Kiba's team?  Kiba and I get along fine, Hinata and I are friends, and Shino...he's okay.  Better than Sakura or Naruto.  At least Sasuke is quiet.

As I approach him, I can see both Shino and Hinata.

"So, how is it like being on the worst team?" Kiba asks jokingly but I honestly think he is right.

I groan and fold my arms, "I will be counting the days until I can do solo missions."

Hinata frowns and begins to fidget her fingers, "You have Naruto-kun, right?  So you have one good member.."

I smile, she has always had a thing for Naruto since she was 5.  I think its cute. but also creepy.  I mean, she sometimes follows him home or to the training field.  Wait... Am I friends with a stalker?   Nah... it's just a harmless crush. 

"Well, you guys have a good team.  I'm assuming Shino is going to be the leader?" I say, trying to invite Shino into the conversation.  I've never been able to figure the guy out, so if I'm trusting him to take care of my friends life, I need to judge his character.

He simply nods his head as Kiba frowns, "I should be the leader.  Akamaru and I hate following commands unless we make them."  Akamaru barks as if he was reinforcing the point.

Shino shook his head, "There is a reason why I am the leader.  In fact, I bet our Jounin will agree with me."

Kiba and Shino get into and argument as Hinata and I finish our lunch with small talk.  Honestly, why couldn't I be in this group?  I would've fit like a perfect puzzle piece.  Stupid Iruka-sensai!  I honestly wish I could change teams.

Since I finished the lunch a little bit before Hinata, I decided to excuse myself so I can think about Team 7, the team that I am forced to be apart of.  I find a nearby tree near a park bench.  I smile and decide to take a nap in the tree there.  I sigh to myself.  If I am over stressing about it, I will just cause myself damage my health and no one is that important enough for me on my team.

After a few minutes, I feel sleepy.  I feel sleep about to take me but I see a pink haired girl and a raven haired boy sit on the bench below me. 

What..? Is that Sakura and Sasuke?

My eyes must be playing tricks on me but are they about to kiss!?  Yep, I'm dreaming. Goodnight.

Just as sleep is about to take over me, Sakura's high pitched voice causes me to be more awake. I groan and glare at the girl.

"It's rude to stare Hotaru-san!  Especially when you're staring at a woman!" She is pointing at me and is just being rude.

"Well, I don't see any women.  So I don't know what you're talking about." I respond back, being uncharistically rude back at her.  What?  You don't mess with me when I'm about to sleep.

Her face turns sour and punches the tree, causing me to fall down.  Thankfully, I expected the punch so I landed properly.

She grabbed my collar and I still glared at her.  "What is your problem, Sakura-chan?  What did I do to make you mad this time?"

Her anger increases, "Don't act stupid or wait..you aren't acting!"

She is also being too rude.  Something must have happened but I was too sleepy to notice.

"If I knew what the problem was, I wouldn't have asked now would I?  So Sakura-chan,  what's wrong?  Did something happen?"

She looks like she is about to punch me but suddenly sighs, "I think Sasuke-kun hates me..."
