Hello everyone!
Welcome to the first story I ever posted and these days, I can't read it without rolling my eyes but I still gotta say that I like the twists it contains. The subject matter (marriage) isn't something I particularly relate to because I am still very young (haha). I have no idea why I tried writing about adults when I was still a teenager and others were writing teen fiction. I think I was inspired by Korean dramas and Hollywood Rom Coms but anyway, I have since learnt my mistake.
I tried rewriting it but I can't give it any more depth than this because it is ultimately chick lit, and I'd rather spend my time writing new works that I will be prouder of.
That being said, I still think it is a fairly engaging and light-hearted read. My characters are all very happy and wholesome people here and this story is a statement that characters without dark pasts can have an equally engaging romance story.
I do believe that if you can just bear with me for two chapters, it will be quite fun with a little mystery and a pleasant little surprise at the end of the ride. :)
