Castiel bit back tears and took in a deep breath. The bathroom was silent so if even the softest of sobs escaped his lips it would be heard by someone. He pulled his feet up onto the toilet seat and cradled his knees in his arms. Tears slipped out of his eyes and he bit his lip hard keeping sound from coming out.

How could he? I trusted him and he betrayed me! I'm an idiot for ever thinking that someone out there would respect my wishes just once. Cas huffed at his bitter thoughts. Then again he didn't tell anyone he just bruised my bully. Maybe I'm over reacting. Maybe.

Castiel finally calmed and stood up from the toilet seat. He unlocked the stall door and walked towards one of the sinks ready to splash water on his face when the bathroom door swung open. He looked to see an aggravated Crowley stomping into the room. Castiel felt his heart drop down to his stomach and he looked away as quickly as he could. Crowley looked up and noticed Castiel standing there with a guilty look in his eyes.

"You." He hissed at the younger male, "this is your fault."

"I-i." Cas sputtered not knowing what to say to his bully.

"'I-I.'" Crowley mocked Cas, "I think someone deserve some revenge."

Castiel felt like his heart was about to rip out of his rib cage, he had no where to go, and no one to call. Crowley stomped towards him with every step Crowley took forward Cas took two steps backward. Castiel's back hit the wall and Crowley grinned down at him even with a bruised face he still managed to look menacing.

"Pl-please Crowley." Castiel whimpered, "I didn't mean for any of this to happen."

"Sure you didn't." Crowley shrugged before jabbing Castiel right in the gut.

Castiel cried out in pain the air escaping from his lungs. He kneeled down and Crowley took that as an opportunity to connect his knee to Cas's jaw. Cas couldn't think straight the pain was way too much for him to bare.

"Not so great right?" Crowley growled grabbing a fistful of Castiel's hair.

"I'm sorry." Castiel felt his vision blur and his body sag.

Just as Crowley was about to punch Castiel again the door opened, "Castiel?"

Cas looked to see his two very unhappy looking older brothers. Gabriel instantly charged at Crowley jumping on top of his back and throwing punches hopping one of them would connect. Balthazar rushed towards his younger brother who looked about ready to collapse. Cas felt tears well up in his eyes but he blinked them away and tried his best to stand up on his own.

"Hey it's okay." Balthazar murmured soothingly, "we got you."

Cas looked up in time to see Gabriel slam Crowley to the ground with a loud thud. His bully groaned not able to get back up. Gabriel stood over him chest puffed up and nostrils flared. Cas had never seen his brother look so angry in his life.

"Dean!" Balthazar shouted.

Castiel whipped his head at the sound of Dean's name. Balthazar gave him a knowing smile before he guided him closer to the exit. Dean opened the door and Balthazar passed Cas off to Dean who supported Castiel's full weight.

"We'll handle him just get Cas to a hospital." Was all Balthazar said before turning towards Crowley his fist balled up.

"C'mon." Dean murmured and Castiel obliged not looking back.

Castiel sat on his front steps by Dean who held a bag of ice on Cas's jaw. Castiel looked over at Dean with his tired, blue eyes. Dean gave him a gentle smile before shifting his body so that it was facing Cas.

"How are you feeling?" Dean hummed moving the ice bag a bit so that he could keep it steady on Cas's jaw.

"I'm alright." Castiel looked down at his intertwined hands.

"Cas." Dean spoke softly.

Castiel stood silent the trees around them rustled with the breeze a couple of leaves falling in the process. The sun was setting causing the sky to turn a bright orange color with a mix of red. Castiel sighed and looked up to meet Dean's green eyes. Castiel gave him a small smile before answering.

"Tired." Castiel pressed his hand against Dean's, "but i'll be fine eventually."

"Well I'm here whenever you're ready to talk." Dean gave him an understanding smile and Cas nodded careful not to knock the bag out of Dean's hand.

Castiel placed his hand on top of Dean's, "thank you, Dean, really."

"It's no problem." Dean nodded and Castiel held eye contact with him.

The world around them was silent and Castiel felt as if the universe was practically begging him to kiss Dean. Dean gave him an unsure chuckle before etching closer. Castiel felt his eyes flutter shut and Dean leaned in finally going for it.

Castiel felt as if his heart was going to explode, but in a good way. Dean's lips pressed against his softly almost hesitant. Cas put a bit more pressure to the kiss much to Dean's surprise. It was sweet and tender and something Cas never expected from Dean, but he was loving every second of it.

Dean pulled away his green eyes searching Cas's face. Castiel felt his cheeks burn red and his heart hadn't calmed down. Castiel looked away from Dean embarrassed for some reason.

"How bout that second date?" Dean grinned.

"Ye-" before Cas could answer his front door swung open to reveal Sam and Gabriel standing there.

"Dinner is ready, love birds." Gabriel smirked along with Sam who was entirely too cheesy.

Cas sighed and looked up at his brother, "We'll be in soon."

"Alright." Gabriel winked and Cas rolled his eyes.

They shut the door and Dean decided they'd get back to the details of their next date another time. He pulled Cas in for a second kiss and Cas practically melted at his touch. Dean pulled him closer and what might've been a short couple of minutes felt like hours to the two boys.

And that's something Cas will always remember.
