Chapter six

*Avery*

I sat down on the couch beside Ethan.

Mark came down stairs with his lap top.

Ethan got up and walked into another room and came back out with his lap top.

He sat down beside me and opened the computer.

"Wanna watch a movie?" He asked.

"Sure!" I said.

"Okay wait here!" She said and ran off into that room again.

He brought out a fuzzy blanket and a bunch of pillows.

He ran up to Mark and stood in front of him.

"Leave." He said while pointing to the door with a straight face.

"Oh I think I have to go and...water my...cat?" Mark said looking towards me. He quickly ran out of the room and shut the door. I laughed at the fact that he had to make up some excuse to leave.

Ethan pulled out a second part to the couch. It folded out into a bed. He sat down and looked up at me.

I smiled at how adorable he looked and sat beside him.

He put the blanket on us and put the computer on his lap. He angled it so I could see it too.

He went into Netflix.

"What genre? Comedy, love, romantic comedy-" he asked but I cut him off.

"Horror." I said getting excited.

"Ok ok hold on...you own a pick up truck, listen to rock music, have tattoos and piercing, wear rockish style clothing, and watch horror films...HOW AM I SUPOSE TO BEAT THAT. Oh ya I drive a car, listen to a lot of different music, have a clean slate of a body, and watch rom-coms on my free time." He stated making me laugh.

I shrugged and pulled the blanket up to my chest. He went to that genre section and moved the mouse through the movies.

"Seen it, seen it, that was bad, seen it, ouu...no, keep going, that was gross, saw that one, OH THATS A GOOD ONE." I point out making him shake at my excitement.

I pointed to the purge anarchy.

"I LOVE THIS MOVIE CAN WE WATCH IT?" I asked getting hyped.

"How many times have you seen it?" He asked me with a smirk.

"Seven times..." i mumble

"What?" He asks moving closer with a grin.

"Seven times." I mumble again.

"I can't hear you, huh?" He asked

"SEVEN TIMES..." I said louder than excepted. We both laughed.

"Okay if it makes you happy." He said.

*BANG BANG BANG*

Gunshots were heard from the movie.

I was startled by the sound.

"You okay?" Ethan asked me. I nodded.

"Well I'm scared so.." he said rapping his arm around me. I giggled.

I leaned my head on his chest. I could feel his body heat radiating off of him and onto me. It was comforting.

The movie was over, but I didn't want to move.

I looked at Ethan who had just moved around to get comfortable. He put the computer away and looked at me.

"I'm too tired to get up can I just stay here?" I asked

"Ya, but on one condition...I have to stay with you. Yano just to make sure the monsters don't eat you. We wouldn't want that happening would we?" He smirked

"No we wouldn't." I smiled

I snuggled into his chest. He played with my hair as his hand slipped to my waist. I rubbed circles on his chest.

"Good night Avery." He said leaning his head back onto the couch cushions.

"Good night Ethan." I smiled at him and laid my head on his chest.

I fell asleep to the sound of his heart beating.
