You continue to stare at the man from where you lay at the couch. He continued to file his paperwork; does he know you're staring at him? "What is it, (Y/n)?" He questioned, never looking up from his work. Vergil turned to you and raised a brow at your silence and widening smirk. "You are a softie.. You know that?" You finally said. Vergil continued to stare until scoffing. "What are you talking about?" He questioned, a hint of amusement in his voice. "You know! Yesterday? When that demon attacked?"

You decided that you needed some fresh air so you went for a walk. Suddenly, you find yourself at the local playground. You smile sadly at the children running around and playing, school has just been out and they wanted to play before they got home. This was dangerous, anything could happen. As if it was on queue, you squinted at a old lady coaxing a little girl to her. 'I.. don't like this..' you find yourself following the two until you reached a clearing in the trees. As soon as it happened, the old woman skin stretched and broke to reveal a ogre-like demon towering over the child. You didn't know what you were thinking, you just ran and picked up the little girl and high tailed it out of the clearing. 'Oh God.. Oh God!' You knew it was chasing you, but you never even looked. A gust of wind and a color of blue ended it all. You sighed in relief as Vergil sheathed his sword, all in his confidence as he had slain the beast. "You know you should not be out here without Dante or me .." You shivered; you were in trouble. Walking up to him, you touched his hand. "I couldn't just leave her there-" "You could have been killed.." Vergil turned to you, his eyes icy and cold. A soft whine caught his attention and he looked in your arms. Your eyes widen in pure shock and mouth opened in gape when Vergils hand rested on the little girls head, causing her to blush at his radiance. "I will go with you. Let's return her home..."

Your grinned widen to the point of not fitting your face. "You love kids, don't you?" Vergil sighed softly, stood up and walked to you. "Don't be ridiculous.." he bent down and pressed your lips to his before pulling away. You jumped at a slam at the door. "Lucy, I'm Hoooome!" Dante shouted, boots clanking on the hardwood. " 'Lucy?' Welcome back." You shook your head. Vergil suddenly turned and went to the door. "I have a job to do.." He said quietly picking up his sword. Both you and Dante looked at each other, a knowing grin on you both. "Hey Verg! I think you made a new crush that day!" Vergil turned his head and glared at him before looking at you. "You told him." You looked away to hide your smile. "No! I don't know what you mean!" Dante bent down to your level, a perverted smile and playful blue eyes shining. "Hopefully he's a softie to our future kids!" He dodges a pillow from you, your face deep red. "Dante!" Vergil face remains unemotional as he walked out. " If it is our kids.." You gaped as he shuts the door, your face heating up more. "VERGIL!!"
