(Shadow POV)
"come with me" he said standing up bring me with him "Captain I though we need to go" Martin asked "yes we do but this is a touch more important" Rip said and walking into the study room well it looks like a study room "what's wrong Shadow" Rip asked I looked at him shock then to the door that was wide open "there can't hear us Shadow Gideon put the door up and sound proofed the room" he said reading my face
I nodded then I remember I can't shifted tears started to roll down my cheeks Rip saw this an in a second he was in front of me wiping them away "hey shhh its ok Shadow well work this out" I said trying to calm me down it worked a bit "Gideon did you find anything that can help us" Rip asked as he pulled me in for a hug I put my hands around his torso as his were around my waist being in his arms make me feel safe and protected
"not yet captain" Gideon said I sighed putting my head on Rips chest/collar bone/shoulder (A/N I don't know what to call that part of this body and I can't explain without making it more confusing sorry ok back to the story)
"hey Shadow its ok" Rip said placing a kiss on my forehead causing me to blush WAIT why am I blushing "I want to say it is but it's not" I told him "you don't know that Shadow it-""yes I do Rip this has happened before and I just can't cope without my powers there all I have left after my family left me" I cut him off "hey you got me and the guys back at star labs" Rip said I smiled a bit at him as we pulled away for the hug
"yeah I know" I said with a small sigh "so you said this has happen before tell me about it please" he asked "don't we have to go though" I asked "it can wait Shadow you and your powers cant" he said I nodded "ok so Barry and I were fighting someone I can't remember their name but there managed to take Barry's speed and my power to shift we were both upset about this living without our power" I paused
"Barry would not stop training trying to get his speed back I would to but not as much as Barry when that same guy came back Barry got his speed back somehow we were never sure how he did but anyway the guy had got me and was using me as bait for Barry who stupidly fell for it and came for me" I said sighing
"Barry and the guy fought but because Barry only just got his speed back it wasn't at full speed so the guy caught him and started to beat Barry like really badly I was sure he was going to kill Barry but as I watch Barry get hurt I felt something in my snap and I'm up running at the guy then just like that I shifted into my wolf" I finished Rip didn't say anything he just looked at me
"so you powers may come back but we just have to do a little digging to see how we can get them back" he finally spoke up I just nodded "ok will as soon as we get back you and I will work on that sound good" Rip said I shot my head up looking at him "yes it dose thank you so much Rip" I said throwing my arms around his neck hugging him he hugged back "come on we better go now" he said as he kissed my head again
A/N alright I know that this is a really short chapter compared to the other 2 chapters but I feel really bad for not updating this book in quite a while please don't be mad at me I know how annoying it can be when someone doesn't post a chapter in a while and I really hate doing it to other so sorry I will try update this book more
