Chapter 4 - drink gone wrong

(Shadow POV)

Rip and I walked back out of the study room to the other "ok now that our little issue is sorted out of now you three make yourselves comfortable while the rest of you are coming with me to get professor Boardman" Rip said as he point to Snart Rory and Sarah "whoa, whoa, whoa you're benching us" Mick said looking at Rip

"I thought we were a team" Sarah said as she stood up clearly annoyed "we are but this mission doesn't no need you practically skill set yet" Rip said oh he will regret saying that I thought "meaning you don't need anyone killed maimed or robbed" Snart said "yep" Rip said turning away from them "you sure that a good idea to leave those two unsupervised on a time machine" Ray asked grabbing Rips arm

"oi haircut deafness wasn't a side effect" Mick said I couldn't help by chuckle at that "Rip he has a point" I said backing up Ray "we don't have time for this" Hunter said "ok then I will stay with them I'm not really need in this mission anyway so" I told Rip who growled "you sure you can handle them" Carter asked "yeah not the first time dealing with them and besides Sarah's here too" I said everyone nodded "fine alright lets go" Rip said as everyone followed

"are you coming Jacks" Martin asked "I'll stay put" Jacks said not looking at Martin "you'd rather stay with them" Martin said gesturing over to Mick and Snart and Sarah "there didn't drug me" Jacks said "point taking" Martin said I started to laughed " don't worry Martin I'll look after him" I said reassuring him as he left

-Jumped to a few minutes later-

"why does this stupid station only play re runs" Mick asked as he looked at the TV I sighed leaning back into the chair Snart sat leaning on the captain's chair while Sarah stood about to explain to Mick "don't even bother trying to explain it" Jacks said as he walked back into the control room "he'd mostly forget it anyway" I added in earning a glare from Mick "yeah ok I am the only one in the ship who could really use a drink" Sarah asked

"I definitely need one" I said "while I say we all get wired in the 70's" Sarah said rubbing her hands together looking at us all I jumped up nodding "excellent idea" Snart said spinning round to look at her "I've got the perfect outfit" Sarah said walking away to change we all started to walk in the same direction

"perhaps captain Hunter was unclear with his instruction to stay on board" Gideon said "shut it metal mouth" Mick said "sorry Gideon but I need a drink so I'm going with them" I said "whoa you're not quite ready to run with this crew" Snart said turning round to Jack Sarah had disappeared as we talked to Jacks "you letting Shadow go through" Jacks said pointing to me "well like she said she need a drink and I agree with her and she can handle her own" Snart said "sorry kid" and with that he and mick walked off

"wait you really just gonna leave me here" Jacks asked looking at me I smiled at him "yeah I said I'll look after you" I said and walked off as soon as the door closed and I was in the hallway I saw that I was alone jeez there walked fast I thought but I was ripped from my thoughts as I was pushed against the wall and pinned to it I looked up to see it was Snart

"what are you doing" I asked trying to get him off me "telling you a secret" he said leaning closer "what" I asked again "you wanna know why Rip just let you stay on board with us" he asked "he did because we didn't have time to argue about it" I told him "hmm your close but he just let you stay why because you don't have you powers meaning you are no help to him" Snart said I shook my head

"I mean the only reason your on this team is because of you powers and as soon as he finds out that you are not getting them back he will either drop you off back home or leave you here" Snart said "no he won't" I growled at him "yes he will and you know it you just don't want to believe it" he said "get off me" I growled once again pushing him off me as I did "fine whatever lets catch up to the others" Snart said as he walked off I followed behind
