(Shadow POV)
"Shadow Captain Hunter wants everyone on the bridge now" Gideon said to me I was in my room just resting once we found out that Rip couldn't time jump with Kendra in her condition and he said we may want to rest for a while we all left the bridge "ok thank you Gideon" I replied and jumped out of bed feeling refreshed being in some more comfortable clothes a random shirt and over sized hoodie and some black jeans I ran to the bridge
"whats up" I asked as I walked in only to see everyone was looking at Rip "pieces of the dagger have apparently broken off and are as we speak on route to her heart" Rip finished saying I now felt bad for the way I enter 'but damn Rip looks good in that leather jacket' I thought 'WAIT WHAT not the time brain' I then scolded myself what is with me
"Kendra wouldn't survive the time jump anyway" Snart's grumpy voice brought me back to realty 'shit what did I miss' I thought once again as we all looked at Snart shocked "I pay attention" he said smugly "to sum up Carter Hall is dead hes girlfriends not too far behind Vandal Savage is sitting pretty in 1975 which we'er all stuck in that how the plan supposed to work Rip" Mick said giving Rip a annoyed look I found myself walking to Rip ready to protect him like I did when we all first met
"obviously not but the mission is simple we stop Savage here in the past and we save the future" Rip said walking forward more Snart looked up at me then to Rip I sighed knowing what he wanted "Simple don't mean easy Captain" I said Rip turned his head to look at me and nodded "oh I never said it was" he replied "the benefit of bring a Time Master is that the length and breadth of history gives one perspective" Rip said being dramatic "I've seen darker days I've seen men of steel die and dark knights fall and even than I accomplished my mission no matter what" he continued looking at each and everyone of us 'stop being so dramatic dammit it's hot' I thought again
'ah brain shut up' I replied to myself as Rip walked passed me to lean on the table "Gideon whats our status" he asked "when the Waverider was attacked by Chronos the Jump ship was damaged unless you make repairs we will be unable to""wait Jump ship" Jax cut poor Gideon off "yeah its a small expeditionary vessel at the belly of the Waverider...your a mechanic you have a look at it" Rip said going of topic "uh auto mechanic uh spaceship" Jax said looking around him gesturing to the ship Rip just gave him a 'so' look as he made hes way to his study
"ah ok is you've got a set of wrenches I'll see what I can do" Jax said giving up causing Rip to smile "and what about the rest of us do we just sit" Mick asked sounding bored already "capital idea Mr Rory your not nearly as thick as most people say" Rip said walking off to his study and the look he got from Snart "thick dose that mean stupid" Mick asked I sighed and face palmed "jeez" I whispered as Sara walked up to me
"you should go have a talk to him" she said motion her head to Rip "why" I asked even though I was going to anyway "because he listens to you" she said as if it was the simplest thing "no he doesn't" I said "he dose Shadow but if you don't want to talk to him I will" she said "fine I was going to anyway what do you want me to ask in cases you had a different idea then I did" I asked "about his plan" she said I just nodded "thought so" I whispered and walked towards the door way
once in the study I crept up behind him and saw he was looking at his pocket watch I see him wearing inside there was a picture of who I would assume was his Sister and nephew "is that your sister shes very beautiful as is her son" I said causing Rip to close the watch and jump a little "sorry its the animals in me makes sneaking up on people easy" I apologized "I'd like the be alone for a moment" Rip muttered not looking at me
"you don't have a plan do you" I asked walking closer to him "and the speech wasn't about convincing us was it it was about convincing you" I said come to a stop right next to him making him look at me and sighing before looking away "didn't work so well did it" I asked giving a sad smile as I leaned down next to him "not really hence my desire to be alone" he grumbled "so we cant kill Savage" I said matter of factually
