A/n: this one shot was requested by skaiblu17 with a specific storyline in mind.
On to the story:
Summer's pov:
Max just asked me out! He's the cutest guy in the whole school and he's a year above me! I've accepted that Freddy and kale are a couple even though I'm still sad they are my friends and I want them to be happy! But I get the best boyfriend ever, me and max are now walking down the hall together holding hands and he kisses me on the cheek.
Freddy's pov: why is summer holding hands with Max Sullivan? He's such a jerk (if anybody has this name or likes anyone with this name I am so sorry I literally just made it up). He did NOT just kiss her cheek! Why do I feel jealous? I'm with kale although she's been clingy lately. Oh my god I think I like summer!
2 days later
"Freddy!" Kale came up behind me sounding angry, "why didn't you call me back or answer my texts last night! I texted you 50 times and you didn't answer I know you read them!"
Ok this has been going on for three weeks it's time to break it off with kale.
"Kale I'm sorry but I don't feel the same way about you anymore."
Kale didn't look angry just upset but not surprised.
"You like Summer. It's ok I know but I wanted to be with you for as long as possible before you noticed. I can't say I'm not upset but I want you to go get her!"
"Ok thanks kale! Can we still be friends?"
"Of course"
I go to find summer when I see max kissing someone! Oh my god he's kissing Sofia Rubino (she was a swing in the musical of school of rock! She's great!) one of the prettiest but nicest gorls in school!
"Sofia he's dating summer!"
"Since when?" She asked.
"This morning!"
"What on our six month anniversary?!"
She slapped him and walked away. I got the whole thing on video.i found summer.
"Summer max is cheating on you!"
"No he isn't Freddy I can't believe you would make up something so mean and cruel!"
Then I showed her the video.
Sumer runs away crying. I try to follow her but he bell rings and I can't get another detention. Summer wasn't in class all day. At the end of school I ride my bike over to her house. I knocked on the door but got no answer. I guess nobody was home. Wait no summer's home she always goes home when she's upset. Her house is her safe place. I decided to climb the tree that leads to her balcony.  I walked over to the tree and climbed. I finally made it up there and walked into her room from her balcony. I heard noises in the bathroom. I walked in and saw summer with a blade in her hand cuts running all the way from her the start of her wrists to her elbows. "SUMMER!"
I ran over to her. "Why did you do this to yourself Summer Hathaway?!" I demanded. "Because I'm not pretty enough. I'm ugly,annoying, bossy, and fat." "Summer you are none of those things." "Yes I am if I wasn't then max wouldn't cheat on me." "Summer you're not any of those things. Yes you can be bossy and annoying at times but we all love that about you. You have a perfect body not too fat not too skinny. And you're the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. So summer I'm asking you now will you go out wit me? "Yes of course I will" they hugged cleaned up summer's cuts and then Freddy left. Summer and Freddy stayed up all night thinking the same thing.
