Chapter 5 An old friend

Aura POV

As Haru finishes her story the jarl starts to cry

"so that's what happend when I left" she said as tears roll down her face Haru gets up And starts to walk out I follow her but before we leave the jarl said

"what ever you need wepons, supplies, or shelter I'll give it to you just please come back to me"

"don't worry I will" haru responds I stay silent, Haru continued to walk out the palace, Haru spoke

"Yeah you alright. You had been quiet recently." I nodded 'Poor haru.' I thought, I looked down. Haru spoke again

"Come on don't look down, be happy. relax." She sighed

"Please talk to me. Please?" we kept walking til we saw a mission board, I walked to it and looked for a mission. My eyes scanned until I found a VERY familiar face that I wish never existed.

Haru POV

Aura hasn't talked in a while and I'm worry. I was waiting for her to find a mission til I saw her eyes meet a unfamiliar person, he was wearing a black cloak and his face was hidden but his eyes were the most intriguing, they were a dark purple or red mixed together. Aura walked up to him, I followed,

" What are you doing here." He laughed

"So I can't be here now?" I saw she was fuming mad and BITCH- SLAPPED the FUCK out of him,

" I don't know why I haven't killed you." He laughed again

"Sorry princess but you will never leave the darkness ever." I'm mad not I pushed him

"What the hell do you mean." He spoke again

"Ask her." Aura spoke

"Haru don't listen to him." And we walked away

No ones POV

They got food and sat down by a river, there was silence between them,

"who is he? Is your question and why I know him is another, since you are the only person I trust in and I mean trust with my deepest secrets. So I'm gonna who is he." Aura spoke Haru nodded, Aura got up and looked at the river she moved her hand over the water and a large drop of water was her hands, she moved it around til it was a sphere. Haru was fascinated but also scared Aura sat in front of Haru and she closed her eyes and the sphere to show Aura's memories.

The spheres POV (cuz I say so)

Aura was born her mother died of child labor and father took his new born kid and went to a small village where they greeted him in loving arms.

A few years later

Aura is now 10 and is helping her father with the inn he opened and named it Lily's inn after aura's mother. It was a normal day til he came in.

"Put your hands in the air and keep them there." Said a female. Aura's father got in between aura and the banits,

"Over my my dead body." The man that aura confronted today came in the picture,

"Really John you will never protect her forever, YOU KNOW HOW POWERFUL SHE WILL BE WHEN SHE'S OLDER!" he shouted, John raised his voice too

"NEVER, SHE'S MY DAUGHTER SHADOW AND I WILL NEVER GIVE HER UP." aura was confused 'powerful ? what did shadow mean that.' Shadow laughed

"I guess we have to go the hard way then." The girl who was being him shot a arrow at John. He fell

"PAPA!" aura kneeled down and she was scared, confused,sad, and mad. Shadow came closer to aura but some thing stopped him aura's face was covered by her rose-gold hair and soft green color appeared over john's wound,

"Please live daddy....Please." She said, she got up

"YOU ARE THE WORST! GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOME AND LEAVE US ALONE." she shouted and a golden ring of magic pushed shadow and his bandits back. Aura started crying

"Please daddy live. PLEASE." But it was too late...... Shadow got up

"I can bring him to life aura." Between the sniffling it was heard

"Go away." Shadow continued

"I'm not lying aura I can help you, I promise." She got up

"What the deal?" Shadow was taken back

"All you have to say I agree." She looked him in the eye

"I agree." Shadow laughed "YOU FOOLISH GIRL!" Darkness surrounded them

"What's going on?!" Aura yelled, a black chain appeared around her foot,

"That deal you made with me was a contract for me so now you belong with me til I die!" Shadow explained

"What about my dad?" Aura was still hoping "DoN't YoU uNdErStAnD i LiEd, YoU aRe So NaViE!"

Flash back ended

Haru POV

That asshole he lied to aura.I looked to aura about to passed out,

"Hey you okay?!" She responsed slowy" Yea I'm just tired that's all."
