Chapter 3 A greedy merchant

[Before this chapter start I would like to say that when a new character is introduced there might be a picture of what they look like and for anyone who still want to be a part of the story you still have time don't worry and enjoy the story]

Haru POV

I get off of auras back and stretch

"thanks for your help aura I'll be on my way to riften" before I can leave aura stops me

"where do you think your going your still injured" aura sais "

But I can walk just fine" i said concerned

"but you need a horse to get there and you might get robed because of your bandages" aura says with a grin on her face

"fine let's go" I sigh when we get to the horse I take my sword and put it in it's (sword holder) scabbard then I take my shield and slide it on to my left arm then I get on the horse aura quickly jumps on as we take off to riften.

"Stop the horse" aura whispers as I imidetly stop the horse

"what's wrong" I whisper back

"we are surrounded by mud crabs" she whispers to me

"are you serious I can take them" I laugh as I jump off the horse then I slam my sword on my shield delivering a loud noise the a bunch of mud crabs pop out the ground and start to come after me I quickly pick them off one by one untill they are all dead I cut off a couple of their claws and legs and put them in a bag that's on the horse

"I know what i am eating tonight" I say tiumfently "ewwww" aura said in disgust, i get back on the horse and keep going until the sun starts to go down

"crap it's turning night" i said

"I know a small cave around here we could take sleep in tonight" aura said

"I'll take anything right now" i reply

"it's just down the road" aura guides me to the nearby cave once we get there, aura unpacks a sleeping bag

"um haru we have a small problem" aura sais nurvicely

"what happend" I ask

"we only have one sleeping bag" aura said "Ok and how is that a problem we are taking shifts so we don't get attacked" I calm her down

"ok" aura responds. Once morning came we continued our way to riften once we got to riften a guard stoped us and said

"halt you must pay the fine to enter riften"

"What this is obviously a shake down" aura said angrily

"Ok ok keep you voice down do you want me to get fired" the guard sais nurvicely as he unlocks the gate. We hop off the horse and enter riften as we walk by the central market aria, a merchant catches my attention and sais

"hello there miss looks to me that you're an adventurer, and your packing a lot of gold on you may I interest you in some armor"

"sure how much" I ask

"Well this is a fine pice of iron studed armor i'd say about a thousand gold" I slam my fist on the counter

"A THOUSAND GOLD" I yell in surprise

"that's a outragus price" aura exclaims

"well that's the price" the merchant smirks

"I could make a better pice of armor then that blind folded" I exclaimed the merchant then responds

"oh really then do it"

"challenge accepted" i go over to the forge then I rip off my sleve and use it as a blind fold

"I put different material and leather around you now you have to make the armor In a better condition then mine. She'll never do it" the merchant laughs.

Aura POV

I stand there wondering how we got into this situation. But I don't have a good feeling about this. Haru takes a deep breath before starting the she imidaty grabs a ebony and a gold ingot the she examines the ingot using her senses first she touches them then she smells the after that she tosses them aside and grabs four peices of iron and starts to work then i look over to the merchant and their eyes widen in surprise after a little bit of time she finished the iron studed armor and it is a way better condition then what the merchant was selling.

Haru POV

I pull my blind fold off and look at the merchant

"so you where saying" I said with a big grin on my face the merchant stands there speechless

"h-how d-did you even"

"simple when your father was the greatest blacksmith in all of solstheim" my grin said on my face

"y-you mean that you're the jarls d-daughter" all the people that where watching get on their knees and bow before me except aura who is still wondering what just happend then a guard comes up to me and said

"I am so sorry my lady please your mother wants to see you in the throne room."
