They had finally arrived at the small cafe. Bokuto dragged the setter over to his favorite table. It was off into the corner, right by the window, where a painting of a small blue boy hung right above Bokuto's chair.
The atmosphere of the place was very calming. The light blue walls set off a nice vibe. You couldn't be anything but happy in that place.
They were the only two people in there aside from the girl at the register and a small boy in the back making coffee.
"I'll go order our food, you wait here, okay!"
Before Akaashi could even answer the overly excited boy, he was already gone. Akaashi then took the time to really look at the place. He liked the way the window was as big as the wall. Outside looked really beautiful after it rained. He liked the white table cloth. It was smooth and soft, he could sleep on it. He liked how happy he was to be there. To be with Bokuto.
*bell rings*
He was really happy they were there together, but he was starting to get irritated. His stomach started to growl loud.
He looked over to see what was taking Bokuto so long when he saw him talk to someone else. Someone be didn't know. He could only see the back of the strangers head. He looked taller than Bokuto, and his hair was a mess.
It looked as if Bokuto was annoyed talking to this stranger. Akaashi was about to stand up and do something, but Bokuto turned away from the stranger and ran towards him.
He grabbed his wrist forcefully and started to pull him out of the building.
"Bokuto-san, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, we just gotta go."
"But we-"
Akaashi was cut off by someone grabbing his shoulder.
"Who's this? Your new pet huh?"
Akaashi and Bokuto both stopped moving and turned around to look at the taller boy. He was looking down on them, smirking. His hair is even messier from the front Akaashi thought.
"Hi" the taller boy said as he stretched his arm out towards Akaashi, asking for a handshake. "I'm Kuroo Tetsurō, nice to meet you."
Akaashi, not knowing what else to do, grabbed the boys hand and shook it.
"Akaashi Keji."
"He's really cute Bokuto, why didn't you introduce us sooner? We could've all had a lot of fun."
Kuroo pulled Akaashi over and held him in an embrace from behind. Whispering in his ear he said "Me and Bokuto use to have a lot of fun. Wanna join?"
Kuroo was about to bite the smaller boys ear, but Bokuto pulled him away and stood in front of him. He was so angry. Kuroo was just laughing at Bokuto's angry face.
"Um, who exactly are you?"
"We're just friends!" Bokuto exclaimed before Kuroo could even open his mouth. He chuckled again at the owl man again.
"Ha, friends!? Is that what you call it?" Kuroo walked over and got close to Bokuto as he looked him in the eye seductively.
Bokuto's face became red and he turned his head to lose the eye contact. Akaashi just watched in awe, still draped in Bokuto's arms.
Kuroo backed away and started to pull something out of his pocket.
"Well, whatever you decide to call it, it sure was fun. Call me soon, anytime."
Kuroo stuffed the piece of paper with his number on it into his back pocket. He winked and then started for the door. He was almost out but stopped half way through the door.
"Oh, and bring your friend."
He said this looking only at Akaashi. He blew them both a kiss and disappeared out the door.
Moments later, Akaashi finally broke the silence.
"Who was that?"
Bokuto looked at the floor, then looked up with a smile and said "just a friend."
(A/N sorry it's short, but this is just a set up pretty much for the next chapter. I might revise this because I bet it sucks. Let me know about any mistakes)
