--- "I love it, thank you," I added, kissing him on the cheek before pulling away from our hug. ---

"So, tell me about Tae," He started after we took our seat, facing opposite eachother. The sudden topic took me by surprise. It was the first time Jungkook had mentioned Taehyung's name is days. Whether it was at school or at home, Jungkook would sigh and ignore whenever someone would mention Tae's name.

"He told me..." I started, uncertain to say anything just in case I would say something wrong, "About his feelings towards me... Well, kinda,"

"Kinda?"

I took a sip out of my caramel macchiato/mint latté before speaking, "Yeah. He told me that it hurts him to see us together, but he congratulated us, so it isn't all too bad," I felt uncomfortable talking about him. It felt wrong in a way, as I didn't want Jungkook to be upset.

He soon frowned, but it soon flipped upside down into a small smile, "Oh, so I guess nothing bad happened," He had took a couple of gulps from his espresso, "So that's good,"

"You guys used to be so close, but after, in which I am guessing, found out he liked me, you both separated and started ignoring eachother. What happened?" my question seemed personal to him, but I need answers. Their relationship was so good and they were probably the closest after Jimin and Taehyung's in the group. He let out a heavy sigh.

"Here's how it went,"

Taehyung and I was at my house, in my bedroom. I was on the computer, editing a few bits of my cover. Taehyung was sitting on my bed, playing with a couple of the teddies I had.
"Jungkook-ah," Taehyung called. I closed the tab, spinning on my chair to face him.
"Yeah? You okay?" I answered back, curiously.
"I need to tell you something..." He had paused for a few seconds, head down and teddies dropped onto the floor, "I like (Y/N)-"
As I heard her name, I instantly spun my chair around again, continuing to work on my cover. I had no intention in talking to him. My heart literally pounded for minutes at a rapid speed. Was it jealousy? Was it anger? Was it being scared? Or was it all?
"Jungkook, please don't be mad! I'm so sorry!" His words were spoken at a rapid speed. Still, I ignore him, "Wait, you like her?"
"Yes, I like her- no, I love her more than anything and I will win her heart before anyone does," I spat bluntly, not bothering to look at Taehyung.
"Challenge accepted," There was a small huff coming out of Taehyung's mouth. I knew he was smirking.
"What?" I had spun on the chair once more to face him. He really was smirking. Ugh, he disgusts me sometimes.
"Challenge accepted, I said. If I win, you promise me to leave her alone? You can still talk to her and hang out with her, but whenever you guys meet after school or at the weekends, I HAVE to come. Y'know just for safety,"
"Alright, same goes here. And if you touch her anywhere she's uncomfortable, you're dead. I'm going to be her future boyfriend,"
"Ha, we'll see about that," Taehyung ended the conversation and I went back working on the computer. From that day onwards, we stopped talking to eachother.

"You guys are stupid," I laughed, "Babies. Tryna get a girl's heart by betting,"

"He started it. It wasn't even supposed to be a challenge in the first place!" Jungkook denied, his voice getting higher.

"You're glad I'm dating you, so I don't have to slap you a million times around the head,"

"Rude much? I hate you," He pouted, looking away from me before taking a sip out of his drink.

"Love you too," I blew a kiss then giggled for a few seconds.

We both took many sips and gulps of our beverages. Questions kept coming through in between the both of us to hide the awkwardness. It was kinda funny how we would answer eachother's question and there would at least be one of us shouting and looking surprised on our responses.

The waiter came with the bill. It was kinda expensive and just as I was about to pull out my wallet, Jungkook had stopped me, saying that he would pay it. I couldn't accept that, so we just argued for roughly about two minutes. The waiter was just trying to hide in a laugh, or a smile as she just stood there in awe. Soon the argument ended and we agreed to pay it together, paying for our own drinks. Which meant Jungkook payed more and I felt bad for not coming up with the idea of paying half and half.

His family was broke. Not badly poor, but still broke. They had enough money to eat and buy quite a lot of cheap things, but they couldn't survive paying for bills when they all came at once. Sometimes Jungkook would come to school, barely having any breakfast and also skipping lunch. It saddens me how I couldn't really do anything, as he always rejected eating some of the food I offered to give him.

I thanked the waiter for the drinks and she thanked for the money and coming in. I also tipped her a few thousand won. Jungkook and I left, him holding the door for me. I didn't thank him, I just stuck my tongue out. The waiter and Jungkook was laughing at my childish actions.

"Where do you wanna go?" Jungkook asked. We were at the bus station, waiting.

"Home," I answered sarcastically, though I doubt Jungkook took it that way.

"Come sleep around my place," His mouth grew wide into a smile, him showing his bunny-like teeth.

"What? Seriously?"

"Yeah!"

"But you're parents-"

"They wouldn't mind. After all it is a Saturday," Jungkook raised one of his eyebrows, crossing his arms. I mouthed a few words and I'm guessing by his expression, he knew what I was saying, " They don't know about our relationship and I don't want them to know yet,"

"I'll text my mum about it," I sighed. I really wanted to hang out with Jungkook more, but I was just afraid of something...

The bus arrived and we had got on after showing our tickets to the driver. We were the first ones to get on but sooner or later, it got really packed as many people kept getting on and off at different times.

I leaned in to Jungkook's ear, whispering to him, "My mum said yes," Jungkook nodded as a response and smiled.

Just as the bus stopped at a stop sign for passengers to get off, a man that looked to be in his late thirties tripped over his over foot. It looked forced, but how would I know. As he was trying to reach for the pole infront of me, his hand slipped onto one of my boobs, him gently squeezing it. I glared up at him in shock and disgust. Luckily, Jungkook didn't see anything as I didn't want him to start drama in public. I covered my chest with the jacket I was wearing, crossing my arms, just in case he dares to touch it again.

I got off the bus with Jungkook, trying to forget what happened earlier. The stop was not far from his house, only a few metres away. We reached to the front of his house and he stopped as we reached the door. He turned his head towards me with a worrying smile.

"Ready to meet my parents?" He asked. That's right. It was my first time seeing his parents, even after all these months of knowing eachother. I nodded and we both entered after he opened the door.

"I'm home and I brought someone!"
