--- "I'm home and I brought someone!" ---
There was no answer. Seconds, that seemed like minutes past and there was a sound.
"Hello?" a feminine voice called from afar, "Jungkook-ah is that you?"
"Yes, it's me," Jungkook replied, smiling, "I hope you don't mind me bringing someone into the house"
"No, I don't," the voice was calm, soothing to listen to. I'm guessing it was Jungkook's mother.
We both, Jungkook and I, headed to where her mother was. It was in the garden and she was just watering the plants, humming to a familiar melody I knew.
"Oh!" her head perked up before pulling herself up from the ground. "You must be (Y/N)!"
"It's nice to meet you," I smiled, bowing politely, "But how do you know my name? We've never met before..."
"Jungkook talks about-"
"Eomma!" Jungkook exclaimed, his voice cracking from the embarrassment. A small blush crept up on his cheeks. Her mother laughed before giving Jungkook a genuine smile, "Can (Y/N) stay here for the night? Her mother said yes,"
"Why of course!" She clapped her hands together. She seemed nice. Her personality was bright and so was her smile. I felt warm and happy inside as it is felt like i was accepted by a family.
Jungkook had brought me to his room. He was editing one of his covers that he thought he might use for his audition. Silence filled the air except for the sounds of mouse clicks, fingers cracking and music blasting out of headphones. The whole atmosphere was awkward, but I intended not to disturb him.
"Here," he called out, taking his headphones off, "Listen to this," He had just finished editing and he put the headphones over my ears. I of course had to adjust it as my head was much smaller than his.
(Aye guys, know the song 'Working' by Zion T.? That's the cover. If you haven't heard of that song before gO AND LISTEN TO IT. THE FEELS AND ZION T. MAN, HE IS KING.)
It was the same melody Jungkook's mother had hummed earlier and it was... the song I heard him singing in one of the practice rooms at school? Hearing this brought back so many memories how we fought, laughed and just spent time together from the start of our friendship to this.
The salty liquid pooled inside the pockets of my eyes, it flowing down my cheeks before the song ended. I took off the headphones, placing it next to his computer then wiping my tears.
"Hey baby, what's wrong?" Jungkook asked, gripping onto my wrists and pulling it away from my eyes.
"I'm scared, Jungkook, I'm scared," I said, sniffling, "Of losing you. I don't want you to go. I don't want you to move out of town. I want to stay with you and be happy, but knowing you're going to fufill your dream... It hurts me so much. I can't bare it thinking that I won't be able to see you face to face everyday and no longer spend time with you," I was now a sobbing mess. My shirt and face was stained with wet tears. My eyes were burning and my cheeks were longer pale-like but now red and damp.
Jungkook had pulled me into a tight hug, him wrapping my legs around his waist as I was sitting on his lap. I now cried onto his shoulder, wiping my tears in between sniffles, "I'm so sorry, sweetie. I wish I could stay, but I have to go," he whispered in my ear, "Tell you what, once I have lots of money, I'll buy tickets for you to go to our concerts and fan meetings,"
"You'd do that?" I perked my head up, lifting up a small smile.
"I'd do anything for my love," Jungkook cooed, showing his bunny smile. It was cute.
"It's still not the same, Jungkook," I said, trying to hold in my tears, "You won't be having these concerts everyday,"
"You can still watch me on TV, right? And if I don't get through, I'll stay right here with you,"
"Cheesy," I giggled.
"Now, go get yourself cleaned up. You look like a mess right now," I nodded, getting off Jungkook and walking into the hallway. It was my first time entering his house, so I had no idea where anything was, "Turn right, first door on your left," and with that, I followed his directions in which lead to be the bathroom.
I patted my face with an alone towel that was lying on the floor. It looked clean, okay? How could you not resist to just pick it up? I mean, finding a towel on the ground, in the bathroom, is kinda suspicious... and dirty... but it was the only one available! I returned back to Jungkook in his bedroom and sat on his bed.
"You okay now?" Jungkook asked, walking over to me and caressing my cheek with his thumb.
"Kinda," I whispered, trying to hide in a smile.
"It's going to be okay. I'm always going to be your Kookie," He pecked my forehead, adding a smile before sitting beside me on the bed.
It was getting pretty late and we were talking about the things we'd like to do in the future, whether it was together, alone or with other people. I gazed upon the clock hanging from the wall across and Jungkook did so too.
He got up from his bed, sighing, "Well, I'll be downstairs sleeping, if you need me,"
"No," I had stopped him by gripping onto his wrist, "Sleep here, with me. The bed's big enough for the both of us, right?"
He had smiled sympathetically before speaking, "Alright, if that's what you want,"
It was weird in a way. This was our first time sleeping and actually spending the night together. It felt cosy, being wrapped in a blanket with his arm around my bare waist, engulfed with his sweet feminine-like scent.
Since I had forgotten my own clothes at home, I had to borrow Jungkook's. I only wore a plain grey hoodie that went up to the tip of my knees as well as my own underwear and bra to wear underneath.
Closing my eyes, I accidentally moaned Jungkook's name a few minutes later. There was a small huff in the air, telling me that he was smirking.
