She asked me if I was in any pain. I told her no. Then she asked me if the doctor said anything more about home long I have left. I didn't know what she was tackling about so I said no. After I ate my lunch I went to watch TV. I turned it on and the first thing I saw was me. Why am I on TV? I went to tell my mom but she must have left to go to the grocery store.
There was a number on the screen to came to donate money for something. I called them and said, "hi I am Ann Joseph". The lady was so surprised. She said, "what would you like mis Joseph". I asked her why I was on TV and she said my mom had set up a donation program for children with cancer that can't pay for treatment.
I thought that was great. But why? Did she not have any money for my treatment? I decided to call her and ask. "Mom why did you set up a donation program"? She said that she had enough money and she said the doctor had called her and said that I was free of cancer and she wanted to help others. I thought that was great and asked her why the doctor did not tell me when I was at the hospital. She said he wanted to tell me when I got my stitches out.
