"Seven human souls..." Flowey explains once Frisk appears back in Snowdin, "Seven human souls is all King Asgore needs to become a god. He'll be powerful enough to break the barrier and set every monster free."

Flowey shifts.

"He already has six human souls... I imagine you know how he got them."

Frisk nods slightly.

"He just needs one more and we'll be out of here." he sighs and looks away, "I know I should be happy about all this... but once every monster leaves it will be a disaster for humanity and that's not something I could ever live with. Knowing I probably could of helped Asgore."

Flowey laughs bitterly and shakes his head.

"Whatever, I would be completely useless anyway."

Frisk reaches towards a petal. There's a flower above her eyebrow and her eye is almost all the way covered.

"No, you are not useless. You're a friend, you help, you count." Frisk whispered.

Flowey stilled before he suddenly breaks down crying. Frisk hugs Flowey closer to her and lets him cry.

"Hey"

"What?" Flowey cries.

"Knock Knock," Frisk mutters.

"Really? Right now?"

"Yes, Knock knock."

"Who's there?"

"Crayon."

"Crayon who?"

"Crayon my shoulder."

Flowey sobs harder and Frisk pats him on the back gently so he wouldn't stir.

I'm sorry for the short chapter today. I've been busy with school and catching up on anime. But, I promise I'll get more chapters out. ~Author-Chan
