Am I the only one who can't look at the word "indeed" or "adequate" anymore without thinking of Mr Ambrose?

Ella
"Ella! Get down here, I have someone I'd like you to meet!" Oh lord, surely it can't be another suitor, I'm not yet 18, that's too young to be set up with random men.
"Coming!" I hurry out to the porch, where Aunt Brank is giving a fake smile to a wealthy looking man. He would be good looking, except I have eyes for only one man. My Edmund.

"Ah there you are Ella, I would like you to meet Sir Van Lichtonstien." I smile politely, when secretly I very much would like to murder my aunt right now. Ah, curse her and her pursuit to find a suitable man for me. The feeling of hatred is foreign, and I have to sit down so I don't faint from the newness of it all.

I don't like disliking someone, especially someone of my own flesh and blood.
She just wants what's best for me. So I can get a good life, and never worry about money. An instant wave of guilt washes over me, and I feel immediately bad for my ill wishes of my aunt.

"Ella!" The stern voice of my aunt snaps me out of my daydream.
"Yes?"
"I was just saying how you would love to accompany this young man for a walk around the park." I gulp.
"Y-yes, that'd be wonderful." She beams.

"Great, now you run along now Ella! Have fun!" Her voice is overly cheerful. Oh Christ. I thought she had given up on her man hunt after Sir Flowery. Apparently not.

So what did you guys think? It's actually harder than you think writing in Ella's point of view, but it's a lot of fun! Give this chapter a vote if you want more Ella!
