The next day Rocky spent the entire day with Mary trying to get her to smile..that day was her last day in California
Rocky: you said your dad was in the army right?
Mary: yeah
Rocky pulled out a pink shirt that said "I'm a proud army daughter" on it
Mary let a little smile come
A cross her face
Rocky: there's that smile
Mary: thank you Rocky...not only for the gift but being the only one there for me
Rocky: no problem...did i mention there's a part 2 to this gift?
Mary: part 2?
Rocky: yes close your your eyes
Mary closed her eyes she heard Rocky open a door and heard footsteps coming near her
Rocky: ok open
Mary opens her eyes to find her dad standing there in his uniform
Mary starts crying
Mary: daddy?
Mary's dad: hi honey
Mary jumped into his arms and started balling her eyes out
