(E/C)= Eye Color
(H/C)= Hair Color

You sighed softly sitting on your couch in your small living room feeling bored out of your mind. Your (e/c) eyes trailed back and fourth from the TV to your clock as you tried to think of what to do. You wanted to hang out with Tail's but he was busy repairing his plane. Then you tried to see what Amy was doing but she was busy shopping with Sally and Rouge. You tried Cream but she was helping her mom bake for a party. You even tried Knuckles but as usual he was busy guarding the Emerald. That left you with only one person....Sonic.

You had a crush on the blue hedgehog ever since he saved you from Eggman. Since then you could never get him out of your mind. His gorgeous emerald green eyes, his playful smirk, his helpful personality. He was a total package! But you knew the chances with ever dating him was slim due to the fact that Amy was always by his side, he never stays in one place long enough for you to tell him and you always stutter whenever you're around him. There was no way you could confess..right?

As you were thinking this your doorbell rang. Standing up you walked over to the door and looked through the peephole before opening it. Standing there was Sonic, tapping his foot against the ground as he ran a hand through his blue quills. He had a nervous expression on his face which confused you even more. Why is he here all of a sudden? Before you could come up with an answer you opened the door. "Hi Sonic." You greeted him with a smile. "Hiya (y/n), how've ya been?" He asked flashing his charming grin that always made your heart skip a beat. "P-pretty good, you?" You asked and mentally groaned because of the stutter. "Oh I've been great. I'm finally free today so I was wondering if you wanted to hang out and maybe walk around the park. Y-you don't have to though, just a question." He added quickly which made you raise an eyebrow.

"Hmm l-let me check.." you glanced over at your calendar to see it was completely blank. "...Lucky for you, I'm also free. I'd l-love to go." You smiled looking back at the hedgehog. His grin widened as he took your hand, making you turn red. "Sweet! Let's go!" And in a blink of an eye you were in the park.

The sudden speed made your head spin. "You got to warn me before you do that.." you mumbled wobbling slightly. "Woops, sorry about that." He smiled sheepishly. Once you stopped seeing double you walked beside him along a path. "So what have you been up to?" You asked hoping to break the silence. "Not much actually, I beat Egghead last week and I haven't seen him since." Sonic replied putting his hands behind his head as he walked. "Do you think he finally gave up?" You asked with a hopeful expression. "No way, Eggman wouldn't give up that easily. He always comes back with some crazy plan that we in the end defeat and the cycle continues. It never ends." He sighed and you frowned. "I see.." "But hey, it's pretty fun foiling his plans. And I get to help so many people, including you. So I guess it's not so bad." He said with a wink making you blush like mad. "W-whatever!" You said and pushed him playfully. He laughed which made you blush more.

You both stopped when you saw a ice cream truck parked a few feet away. "Ice Cream!" You exclaimed excitedly and ran towards the truck. Sonic chuckled and followed suit. Once you reached the truck you asked for (F/F) and Sonic simply asked for Vanilla.

You searched your pockets for your wallet but remembered you left it on the counter back in your apartment. Sonic noticed your sad expression and pulled out 4 rings, handing it to the ice cream man. "Thanks." You said. "No problem, anything for a pal." Sonic smiled but the word pal made you frown more. Is that what you are? Just a pal..?

You both decided to rest on a bench and finish eating your ice cream. You looked up at the sky to see not a cloud in sight. The sun was shining beautifully and a gentle breeze rolled by. You looked over at Sonic and saw he was staring at you. You rose an eyebrow but he quickly turned away..blushing? Your cheeks began to heat up as you started to eat your ice cream. The now awkward silence made you feel awkward but you weren't sure what to say. Suddenly Sonic piped up "Um..(Y/N)?" "Yeah Sonic?" "I want to show you something but you have to keep your eyes closed. Okay?" He asked and took your hand. You blushed nodding softly and stood up, closing your eyes. He started to lead the way.

After a bit of walking he suddenly stopped. "Alright, open your eyes." He said and you slowly opened your eyes. The site you saw was almost impossible to describe. You two were standing on a grassy cliff hanging over miles of crystal blue ocean. The sky was now a mix of purple, pink, orange and yellow and the sun was setting on the horizon. You stood there paralyzed by the sight. "Do you like it?" Sonic asked standing beside you. "I found this place a few months back after beating Eggman. I've been coming here ever since." He explained. "I love it.." you replied making him smile. "Whenever I come here I tend to think of you. Everything about you is beautiful, your personality, your looks, everything. I can't get you out of my mind." He admitted rubbing his neck. Your face grew hot as you heard him speak. "(Y/N) you probably don't think the same but...I love you."

Your vision blurred as tears filled your eyes. "I-I love you too." Sonic smiled happily and kissed you. You kissed back wrapping your arms around his neck and he snaked his arms around your waist, holding you close.
