There stood the phone, in his hand. Only it wasn't his hand, it was Malik's.
"What did you do to him, you monster." I screamed lunging towards him, but he slapped me so hard that I fell to the floor.
"He's alive, and you need to come with us if you want to see him again." He looked down at me, his ignorant smirk never left his cold face.
I slowly pulled myself up from the floor.
"Give me your gun." He held his hand out.
"I don't have one." I lied.
He pulled me closer towards him by my hair. "Do you think I'm stupid Lacey Righte? We can do this the easy way, or the hard way." He tightened his grip on my hair, a whimper left my mouth.
Without warning, two men appeared dragging Tommy across the floor. His head hung low.
"No." I cried aloud.
"Please, just let him go. It's not his fault." I pleaded.
He lifted his head up, his mouth was full of blood.
"Gun." Zayn shouted loudly, this time with authority.
I fumbled for it, suddenly pointing it at one of Malik's men.
All of them then pointed their guns at me.
"If you pull that trigger, the other's will kill you in an instant." Malik growled into my ear.
"Yes but by the time you shoot me, I will have shot your friend over there. One little touch of the trigger and he's dead. It doesn't matter about me, are you willing to risk your friends life. Really?" I tried to do what Styles would do.
"This isn't some little Gang 7, this is my gang. We don't have friends. People are disposable here. Go ahead, shoot him. Quite frankly, I don't give a shit. But if you die, your brother won't last a week." He let go of me, snatching the gun from my hand.
He grabbed me by my arms and pulled me with him. I reluctantly lost the battle against his strength.
"Oh and kill the other boy." He called.
"No" I screamed, "no you can't." I tried to struggle against Malik but he was too strong.
"Please." I pleaded with him, tears streaming down my face. "Please don't do this."
He ignored me, shoving me into the back of a black car. I didn't get the chance to see if he was even alive. It was all my fault. I became numb, I felt broken emotionally and soon to be physically.
Wire was tied around my wrists tightly.
"What have you done to him?" I spat, holding back my tears. "Where's Jake..honestly?"
"Jake's long gone." He laughed loudly to himself, the driver laughed too. "Trent took control of him, he's my right hand man. He has a lot of control over here."
"Who's Trent? What do you mean?" I cried.
The car stopped. "Would you like to meet Trent?"
I climbed out of the car. Taking a deep breath I followed Malik into the building, a man behind me had a gun held at my back.
Jake stood in the doorway, unharmed. I ran up to him and he placed his arms around me.
"I was so worried about you." I smiled into his embrace.
"We need to talk, and quickly." He glanced at Malik who nodded, making everyone but us two leave the room.
"Malik will kill me if you don't help him, Lacey darling." He never acted this way, he'd never even had a full blown conversation with me before. But he was my brother after all.
