Chapter 4:
House Hunting
“Kyle can you do up that waterfall picture on a large canvass for our hiking display?”
Dan asked as he looked at the old display that featured a lousy photograph that had been provided by the clothing company as a backdrop for the clothing dummies.
“Which one?”
Kyle asked as he noticed tat Dan was holding up one of his water color paintings of the waterfall that had changed his life.
“This one.
I like how you got the faded sunlight reflecting off of the water.”
the painting was a late afternoon scene of the water turning a beautiful gold and red from the filtered light of the setting sun.
The flowers surrounding the pool and waterfall were brilliant bursts of violet, blue, white, red, pink, and yellow.
“It’s possible but will take a few weeks to do.
I take it you want it to be large enough to cover that old display image?”
“Yeah that should be about right.
You don’t have to copy the whole thing mostly I want the waterfall and this section of rocks and ground.
Just keep the basic idea and scene and go to town.”
“Alright just so you know it isn’t going to work if I try to keep it as a watercolor.
I can get some cheap acrylics and it should work.”
“Wonderful just give me a minute and we can go and buy what you’ll need.”
