Chapter 24

I looked at my grandpa confusingly and said
"what do you mean by brother grandpa?"
"He is your brother Shielle" my grandpa said looking at Rin
"What how?" I said having to sit down, my grandpa lead me to the sofa and I sat down with a cup of milk a sipping it slowly.
"Shielle,  Rin is you twin brother" I began to drink faster and began to choke as my milk went down the wrong hole. Rin began to pat my back firmly so I could breath, "okay I fine now" I said looking at Rin "did you know we were twins" he nodded and opened his mouth and shut it again.
"Grandpa tell me some stories again please?" My grandpa smiled and began.

"Your mother Shielle is the Shadow Queen,  somebody who can harnest the power of the Shadows, your father who I never told you about on your mother's wishes was the devil of hell. You and Run were born very different from each other," I looked at Rin, he sighed and looked away from me
"How different Grandpa" I asked
"Run was a fully complete demon and I couldn't look after him due to such powers, but you you were half demon and your mother put that half of demonic powers away in a necklace so you could one day harnest it"
"How have got wings and Rin doesnt" i asked even more confused
"Before you were born you mother was being expremented by the school and this caused a chemical and physical defect in her gean. So this made her grow wings and her wings were the same as yours but she could never use them because one day your mother tried to escape and when she did they shot her down from the sky and damaged her wings." I looked at me and put a hand out.
"So are you really my grandpa or not?!" I said moving closer to Rin
"Sis everything he said is true, and he is our grandpa," Rin put his arms around me and squeezed me.
"How do you know all this huh?"
"Because my, our father told me everything so one day I could find you and look after you like a big twin brother,  that I am, I  sorry I didnt tell you Shielle we were always inturupted by somebody when I tried to tell you." He said looking at grandpa, "You did well though Rin, and for that I'm greatful, please take anything you need and find you mother Shielle and say I miss her."
I looked at Grandpa and hugged him and said,
"I love you Granps" he squeezed me harder as I went to my room to get some things from my room.

Rin got up and looked at Grandpa and he hugged him.
"It's nice to finally meet you grandpa," grandpa nodded and grabbed Rin by the shoulders and looked him straight in the eye and said,
"If you have to you know then do it at all costs," Rin nodded and patted grandpa on the shoulder.

Rose

Nick pulled me out of the Alleyway where we left Shielle and Rin, I was still crying. Nick had one hand around me and the other in his pocket,
"So," He said looking forward
"So what?" I replied, walking with him still,
"So how did your family die?" he said facing me, I stopped and unhanded his hand from my shoulder and looked at him.
"I don't think you want to know" I said wiping my tears from my face, I turned and walked away.

"Rose, Please tell me!" Nick yells grabbing my hoodie sleeve, I throw my hand away and began to turn to run when I see a police officer walk towards us, I began to panic then I grabbed Nicks hand and pulled him into a near alleyway and press myself against the grimey wall, until she walked past us. I let out a big sigh of relief and turned to Nick,
"You really want to know?"
"Everything" He replied putting his hand on mine. I let go of his hands and began to play with my hair as I Told him what had happened,

"Well, I was upstairs in my room on a normal and peaceful day, but it all changed when I heard my brothers run down the stairs giggling, as they would as it was their birthday, then I heard a scream and I rushed out of my room and flew down the stairs and twisted the door knob to see my dad laying on the floor in a pool of his own blood, I grabbed my youngest brother hand as I saw a dark figure standing in the corner of my lounge holding my older brother by the neck with a knife near his throat, my youngest brother screamed so loud that it broke the dark figures ear drums. He let go of my 1st youngest brother but the knife still slit his throat which killed him. I turned to my youngest brother, as somebody tried to pull him away from me and I sent a gust of wind towards them sending them backwards, however I let go of my brother at that moment and he was thrown into the wall with the guy, he then shouted my name and threw a lighting bolt toward the guy behind me, however that didn't do anything as the guy grabbed me and put me in the way, so the lighting bolt hit me instead of him, and in that moment all I saw was my younger brother falling to the ground with a knife in his back. Then I saw darkness."

"Jesus, all of that just to get you?!" Nick said looking at me in shock,
"Yeah, at least I think so" I began to cry as I pictured my little brothers scared face,

"But if your brother had powers then why did he kill him?" Nick said rubbing his head, "Hey, its okay, don't blame yourself for you brother." He put his arms around me and I just sobbed all the way to his house,

"Hey Mum" Nick said, Me and Nick walked into his living room and his mum shot of the sofa and swung her arms around him crying,
"Oh, Sweetie I missed you"

"Me to, but I haven't got any time to talk I need to get some surplise and get out before 'they' relise im here" He said looking at her with pain in his eyes.
"I understand, Hurry I'll pretend you weren't here" She said slimling with tears in her eyes.
we grabbed some food and water and coats, and head out to Shielle's Grandpa's Game shop.
