Chapter 22

Andrea's P.O.V

Jax holds my hand as we wait for the pack doctor to come back.

"What if it's all just a misunderstanding and, that we don't get to have a family." I say tears brimming my eyes.

"Hey, don't think like that. Have faith." He says. The pack doctor, Lisa comes back in the room with a big smile on her face.

"Good News!" She squeals.

"You're pregnant!" She squeals again.

"I'm pregnant? I'm pregnant. I'm pregnant!" I say while processing what Lisa just said.

Lisa is Emilie and Trent's mom. When my mom and her met they completely hit it off. They are still best friends and they met eighteen years ago. I really miss my mom. I can't wait to tell her.

I look over to Jax to see that he's crying. I grab his face with my hands and look at him to see he's smiling.

"We're gonna have a family together." He sniffs.

"I know Jax. I love you, no matter how many times you have hurt me. I always forgave you. You know why? Because I love you too fucking much." I say pulling him closer so my lips meet his. He pulls away and leans our foreheads together.

"And I will always regret the times I have hurt you. I never want to see you cry because of something I did."

"So sorry to ruin the romantic moment but, Andrea? You might wanna tell your mom she's going to be a grandma." Lisa interrupts. Jax let's out a low growl as he has been interrupted from a moment with his mate.

"You're right! I can't wait to tell her!"

I get up to go run out of the room to get my phone that I left in the other room. I'm surprised no one stole it.
I tap on the familiar phone number and let the phone ring.

"My baby! How are you sweetheart. I've been meaning to call, but you know how it is." Mom rants.

"Mom I'm fine. I know how it is there. How's Jarred?"

"He's fine. He misses you though. He asks, and I quote, 'If she mentions about any gay hotties around to call me!' That boy sure cracks me up." My mom chuckles.

"Tell him he's gotta come and see for himself. I am no owl." I smirk even tho she can't see me.

"Well anyways, how is your life over there? How is Trent, Emilie, and Bianca?" She asks.

"They are all doing great. I found my mate a few months ago actually. I was going to call you when I found him, but it slipped my mind." I hear a squeal from the other line and I move my phone away from my ear until it stops.

"When will I get my grand baby? I want a grand baby." She demands. Great! That makes things so much better.

"In about six months." I say calmly. I hear another squeal so I put my phone away from my ear again.

"You're pregnant! I'm so happy! I will see you in two hours. I will be there for you every step of the way." She says hanging up after. I walk back into the room with a big smile on my face.
