Chapter 19

Andrea's P.O.V

I wipe my hands on my jeans because I'm so nervous I'm sweating.

I raise my hand to knock on the door but before I could even get my fist to the door, it opens and I see him.
Ok, is it just me or did he get hotter over the past few days.

"Hey." I say fiddling with my ear. Don't judge! I do that when I'm nervous.

"Hi." He says scratching behind his neck.

"I need a favor." I blurt out.

"Anything for you." He smiles at me. My cheeks redden as I look down at my white low top converse.

"I need you to find Bianca Rueda."

"Your hybrid friend?" He says and I nod.

"What happened?" He asks.

"Let's head inside." Now it's his turn to nod.

As we head inside I take in a deep breath. I look toward his office and memories from when we made out and I met his parents, came flooding back to me.

"So what happened?" He asks again.

I take in another deep breath and start to explain everything not leaving a single detail out.

"Damn." I hear him mutter.

"I know." I whisper back. He goes to get up and I ask him where is he going.

"Well Bianca is not going to show up out of no where is she?" He grins at me.

I roll my eyes but follow him anyway. He takes us to his office and I jump straight to his rolling chair. I spin around till it lands to him and then smirk.

"Let's get straight down to business." He chuckles but sits down on top of ME.

"DUDE, WHAT THE FUCK! YOU'RE HEAVY AS HELL!" I yell at him. He just shrugs and makes himself comfortable.

"You calling me fat?" He says as he stops moving.

"I never said that. I just said you were heavy." I state matter of factly.

"Yeah, but heavy with muscle." He says but I can imagine a smirk on his perfect god like face. Wait what?

"Thank you for calling my face perfect and god like."

"Wait. How did you hear that?" I ask him. He gets off of me and turns around to look at me. He comes closer so that our lips are almost touching. He lifts his hand and traces his finger over my mark causing my breath to hitch.

"My mark, princess." He says his breath fanning my lips. I close my eyes thinking he was gonna kiss me but when I open them he has already started to call people. I sigh and start spinning around in the chair some more.

"So my best tracker is already on the search for her. So give him at least an hour."

"Good. I hate to my best friend so sad." After I said that it got hella awkward and silent.

"So how have you been." I say trying to break the awkward silence.

" Pretty shitty since you haven't been by my side." He says. Guilt washes over me knowing I've made my mate feel terrible.

"It's not that I don't want to. I-I just need a break." I say, my voice cracking.

"Away from me." He growls.

"Where you can flirt with other guys. Guys that are not me." He adds.

"No, I wouldn't do that to you. No matter how much I'm mad at you right now."
