The minute I woke up I felt my hand throbbing in pain. I grabbed my small, frail hand and applied pressure to ease the hurt. I sat up on the bed I was sleeping on and looked around. This isn't my room..
The room was painted with blue stripes on all 4 walls. In front of the bed was a small chest. There was a desk on the left side of the room and been bags and a TV with an XBox on the other. I looked on the bed side table to my right and there was a glass of water, a note, and 2 pill capsules. I sipped some of the water up as I read the note. Painkillers. I picked the pills up and tossed my head back and tried to gulp it down. Gagging, I spit them back into my hand. I can't do this. I tried once again and barely managed to keep them down this time.
I turned to look at the other night stand where an alarm clock that read 1:57, my phone on a charger, and a picture frame was. The picture showed Parker, a younger and older girl, and an older man whom looked just like Parker. His family. That's when it dawned on me and I remembered all that had happened in the earlier hours of the night.
I looked at my outfit and I was in a super girlie night gown. It was pink silk and had lace at the top where my chest was and pink feathery straps. The bottom of the dress had pink feathers lining it as well. What in the world am I wearing?!
My stomach started to growl and I realized I still hadn't eat'n anything since lunch. I'm sure they won't mind if I eat something, I thought as I started to get out of bed. I placed my right foot on the floor with a thud, being careful not to put pressure on my left leg. I eased it down gently as I looked at the giant purple and blue bruise lining the entire outside of my leg. Well that certainly looks lovely. After a good few minutes of easing the pain I was able to stand. Don't I look stupid for thinking it was broke.
I walked towards the white wooden door and slowly and calmly eased it open hoping not to wake anyone up. I limped into the hallway and looked at my surroundings. There was a pink door straight across from my white one and a bathroom separating the two doors on right. On the left there was a hallway that led to another white door. There was a set of stairs on the right side of that door and I decided that those would lead to the kitchen. I hobbled down the hallway and stopped in front of the stairs. I sat down on the top step and decided it would be easiest to scoot down. This will be interesting. I traveled down the stairs effortless. I used the railing to hoist myself up once I got to the final step. I looked around to see I was standing in the kitchen and there was an archway on each side of the steps.
There on the right side of the kitchen stood a tall stainless steel refrigerator calling my name. Oh glorious food! I limped my pathetic self over to the fridge and popped the fridge open and the little light inside lit up the entire kitchen. I grabbed the ham and cheese and put it on the counter.I left the door ajar so that I could search for bread. Bread.. Bread.. Bread.. AH! BREAD!
I grabbed the plastic covered bread and opened it up where I had left the sandwich condiments. I assembled the sandwich then searched for a plate. I found some plastic plates in the 3rd cupboard I opened and placed my sandwich onto it. I put everything away then searched the fridge again for a drink.... A capri sun!!
I gathered my things and searched for a place to sit.. Let's see what's behind archway number one! I bumped the fridge door shut with my hip and walked through the arch. I felt for a light switch and flipped on the light. I looked at a quaint little dining room. Brown table and 6 different chairs. I sat down and began scarfing down the long over- due sandwich. I slurped on my juice pouch until it made the slurping sound.
"Someone's hungry." I snapped around to see Parker in the archway. "Yeah, I havn't eat'n since lunch." I said through a mouthful of food. I eyed Parker as he walked to my side of the table and sat down beside me. "Soo, did you sleep well?" Parker asked me . Does he not see it's two in the morning? "I guess so..." I replied trailing my words off. Why does he even care? Just because I slept at his house doesn't change anything, he's still blackmailing me!
