It was Monday afternoon and Ocean insisted on driving me home instead of me walking. I eagerly got into his four door car he named Scarlet, for its red color.

We pulled into my driveway, Ocean came in like he usually does when he brings me home. Aunt Penny doesn't care even though she's at work since she switched shifts and wouldn't be home until late 

We made our way to the kitchen. "Want some food?" I asked picking up a bag of chips dancing it in front of his face "I got you barbecue, your favorite." A smile formed to his face and he took the bag from me and opened it. I grabbed a coke for him and a Dr. Pepper for me. We walked into the living room and sat down on the floor together.

"Thanks Alice, you really are the best." I flipped my hair over my shoulder and replied "I know."

"Do you want to watch the Harry Potter series, again?"

"Sure I'm going to go grab my backpack and laptop so I can do homework. Start the movie?"

"Got it!" He crawled over to the TV and popped open the movie case, I got up and walked to my room. I plugged my phone in to charge because it died during school and then grabbed my school things.

I changed into athletic shorts and a tank top and threw my blonde hair into a messy bun. I picked my things up and walked into the living room. Ocean already had are usual sat up layed out, all the pillows and blankets on the floor to make a pallet.

He was crunching loudly on the chips watching the credits. I walked over to the front of the couch and bent over to drop my books. When I did Ocean started coughing and choking. I sat down next to him freaking out,  "Are you okay, what's wrong?"

"I'm fine brainiac, just got choked up."

"Okay good, you're not allowed to die on me." I pinched his cheeks as we laughed again as I sat down. The movie started and we opened our cans simultaneously.

I got to work on all the homework that had piled up over weekend. I was so busy doing things with Parker I had forgot to get most of the work done.

Ocean bumped my shoulder, "I tried calling you this weekend. And I texted you. Were you busy?"

"Yeah I was with Parker." I took the chip he was about to eat and put it into my mouth. He looked at me with a blank expression. "You were with Parker? Why would you want to do that?" I contemplated on what my answer would be.

"Ocean can I tell you a secret? I've not even told Lulu yet."

"You can tell me anything."

"I really, really like Parker."

"You do?"

"Yes, Ocean, I do."

"Oh. Well then I guess I'll have to support you in whatever you do." I was shocked at his response and that he didn't freak out, although him being that calm was a little freaky.

"I love you Ocean you're the best." He acted like he flipped his hair and said, "I know."

We finished the first movie and we were on the second movie in the series when there was a knock on the door. I stood up and opened it. Parker was in basketball shorts and a T-shirt that had the sleeves and sides cut out. "Hey gorgeous." He reached down and hugged me. I squeezed back smiling.

"Hey, come on in."  I held his hand and pulled him inside to sit on the ground with me and Ocean.

"Hey man." Ocean said. They did this hand shake boys only know.

"Hey, Ocean right?"

"Yeah, and you're Parker." Ocean looked from me to Parker and back to me.

"Yep." Parker said then squeezed my hand.
