That's the cover for my new book. It will be a while before I publish it, because I'm trying a new publishing style. But here's a preview.
(Alexica's POV. like every chapter will be.) I shoved my book bag into my locker and closed it. Starting to walk down the hallway, I felt someone yank my hair. I jerked around to see Kathleen, the most popular girl in my grade, and her group of friends. One was throwing down a couple pieces of my hair. "So who are you going to murder today?" One of them asked. "I've never murdered anyone." I mumbled. "Well you're obviously ready for a funeral." Kathleen said, gesturing to my black shirt, dark jeans, and black high topped converse. "You might be my first kill if you don't leave me alone." I told them, trying to walk through them, hitting them with my bony shoulders. But they were too quick, encircling me, and pulling my, which you would describe as nerd glasses, off my face. "It looks as though she doesn't even know what the color white is!" Cackled one of the girls. "Oh, she obviously does!" Kathleen retorted. "I mean, look at her hair!" And she yanked my platinum blonde hair once more. The bell must have rang, because I heard the thud of my glasses hit the floor, and the girls scurried off. I bent down, groping to find my glasses. "Here." I heard a feminine voice say from above me. I took the glasses and put them on. The girl that had handed it them to me was very pale, with a muddy colored brown hair and beautiful green eyes. "Thanks." I said. Out of the corner of the corner of my eye, I saw a boy with curly brown hair limping towards us, studying a small piece of paper closely. He put his arm around the girl that had handed my glasses to me. She looked over at the small piece of paper, and looked up at me. She seemed to turn a little green. "We're so sorry, we didn't mean to bothe-" "It's ok babe." The boy said. They walked off, the boy steering the girl by her shoulders. "See you in class." He called to me.
