What's the hardest thing you've ever experienced.
I think dealing with my mom and dad being at each others throats for the first time. My mom shot at my dad's truck when he was leaving the house. He picked her up off the ground by her throat, all with me watching. Oh and it was my birthday. And I was only 10, trying to hold my family together by telling them I love them and trying to make sure my seven year old sister didn't see anything and lying to her saying "everything is ok." But I knew it wasn't. Still trying to be a kid and trying to have a birthday party, but giving up on it cause I knew they would wreck it. I think that's why I get told I'm the most responsible and mature of my friends. Cause I had to be an older figure for my sister, and fend for my own because of my parents, and none of my friends have had to go through that, and I'm glad they haven't. I'm glad cause when this all happened, my best friend's dad and best friend were there at 2:00 in the morning to take me and my sleeping sister to their house. My best friend let me wear her favorite clothes and slept right beside me on a pallet of blankets on the floor in their living room. That's really made me grow up way faster than I thought I would have.
Wattpad readers, you better feel freaking privileged cause no one else knows this except that best friend and you.
