Aurora
I sit at the bar with numerous bodies surrounding me. I sigh as I get up, "that wasn't even fun."I walk out of the bar and grill and I jump in my car after stripping out of my clothes and shoving them into a plastic bag on the back seat, literally driving stark naked. I pull up to a house that seems EXTREMELY familiar. Hmm.
I get dressed into my bloodied clothes again as I am not willing to put blood on other clothes. As I walk up to the door I notice the blue Chevy parked away from the house. I raise one of eyebrows at this and enter the house. No owner? Or maybe a vampire. I shrug at the alternatives.
"Who are you? And why are saturated in blood? It smells disgusting," I turn my head to the left of me and meet a familiar pair of hazel eyes. Tears well in my own eyes.
"Stefan?" I question as I reach out to touch his face "Yes, that's me, who are you?" Stefan questions me, dodging my bloody hands.
"You don't remember me Stef? Ouch. I'm hurt," I place a hand over my heart.
"Again, who are you?" He snarls this time, getting into a defensive stance. I put my hands up, "I'm not going to hurt you, can I borrow your bathroom? Wash all this rot off of me?" I ask, lowering my hands slowly. Stefan looks me up and down suspiciously. He finally stands sideways and motions for me to go first, "down the hall on the right, I'll grab you some clothes you can borrow."
I walk down the hall to where he directed me and wait for some spare clothes from him, my heart slowly breaking and mending together as realisation strikes me. Stefan is alive.
I sense Stefan walking towards me so I turn to him. He pushes forward a large shirt and a pair of boxer shorts as well as a towel for me. I thank him quietly, grabbing the clothes and walking into the bathroom. I don't take too much notice of what the bathroom looked like, only that the taps for the shower were confusing.
After I managed to figure out what was what, I start to scrub my body free of the clinging blood. Once I'm sure the blood is out of every nook and cranny of my body, I step out and dry myself before putting on the clothes Stefan gave to me.
I step out of the bathroom only to be tackled to the ground, "Rory..." I look down to see Stefan. He has me in a tight grip as he cries into my shoulder.
I huff and smile, "took you long enough baby brother," I stroke his hair soothingly as he cries silently into my shoulder. "Okay, okay get off, you're squishing me you fatty," I laugh as he apologises and helps me up.
"We've been looking everywhere for you! We figured that you were the one going on the numerous killing sprees around the US," Stefan frowns, "why didn't you look for us?"
"I have one question, who is 'we'?" I walk to what I assume is the living room and guess correct as two plush looking couches appear in my line of sight. I go and sit on the longer one and immediately smile at how comfy it is. I scoot down until I can comfortably lay on the couch.
Stefan smiles softly to me, "we, as in Damon and I. We've been looking everywhere for you ... " Stefan sits beside me. I sit up abruptly, "Damons alive too?"
"Well, yes, but that doesn't answer my question Aurora," Stefan presses. "Oh right, I thought you guys were dead. I come to Mystic Falls once a year to mourn but I see I don't have to anymore," I smile brightly as Stefan grabs my hand and hoists me up.
Stefan leads me down a maze of hallways, "this is Damon's room, he ugh .. he locks himself away. He blames himself for losing you, he has for 146 years." I look at the plain brown wooden door in front of me. Stefan sighs sadly as he urges me to go in. I nod slightly and open the door slowly. I look around the room until my eyes land on a familiar form hunched over on the floor with his back facing me.
