Chapter 18 - Love Bites, But So Do I

"You know Damon, tonight was actually pretty fun," I smile as we link arms. "True that big sister," he smiles back.
We walk in a comfortable silence, making our way back to Mystic Falls. "Hey...sorella, can I ask you something?" Damon mumbles. "But of course brother," I nod as I unlink our arms and face him.
He looks away nervously. "Why didn't you tell us that Giuseppe beat you?" Damon looks down and twiddles his thumbs, something he does when he's nervous. "Because I was protecting the both of you, if I had of told you what he did, he would've beaten you and Stefan to make sure you guys wouldn't say anything," I stroked Damons face protectively.
"You and Stefan were, and still are, all I have left and I will protect you at all costs. Please just let Elena go because I know you haven't, I can already see that this will not end well for you.. little brother," I sigh as I remove my hand and back away as a tear spills over.

"You can change that though, you can change the future if you are willing! I see two paths for you but you are going down the wrong one. It's not too late Damon," I smile weakly as he looks at me with tears flowing down his face. "I can't, I love her," Damon shakes his head. My smile fades and instead is replaced with a hard emotionless expression. "You've sealed the deal then, brother," I spat as I sped to Klaus's mansion.

"KLAUS!! I HATE MY FAMILY! CAN I JOIN YOURS?" I yell out as I fall to the ground dramatically and lay on the cold tiles. "Of course you can, but you'll have to marry into it," Klaus stands over me and I look up at him.
"Oh, well if you'll just undagger Kol," I snicker. "No. Me. You will marry me," Klaus picks me up. I groan, "but I don't wanna!" I pout. "Of course you do, love," Klaus laughs. "I have a surprise for you!" Klaus smiles big. "Uh oh," I cover my eyes. "It's a good surprise! I promise you'll love it," I uncover my eyes and look up at a beaming Klaus.
He walks over to the couch with me still in his arms and sets me down.
"Okay!" Klaus yells out. I wait impatiently as a minute passes. I look over at Klaus and give him a look. "Just wait," Klaus smiles, but annoyance flashes in his eyes.
"Miss me darling?" I freeze and look up. "KOL!!!" I speed towards him and jump on him, wrapping my legs around his torso. "I missed you so much!" I squeeze him tight enough to cut off his breathing. "Oh, I missed you too!" Kol chucks me up into the air.
"Why don't I get a hug?" I look to where the voice came from. "BEKAH!!!!" I squeal louder as I get off Kol and tackle Rebekah to the ground. "Jesus, I didn't think you missed me that much," she laughs as she hugs me.
"I did. I missed you guys a lot," I got up and helped Rebekah. "I'm here too but you haven't met me, my name is Finn, lovely to be acquainted with you," a man appears in front of me and kisses the top of my hand in greeting.
"You too Finny!" I laugh. "That is the most grotesque name I have ever been given," Finn cringes. "Get used to it buddy," I laugh again and look over to Klaus smiling. "Thank you," I nod as I rock back on my heels. "You are very welcome, besides, I thought it would be great to have a family reunion," Klaus claps his hands. "Why don't we invite your dear brothers Aurora?" Klaus suggests. I stop rocking in my heels and look him straight in the eyes, "no."
I turn my back and walk upstairs. "It was lovely seeing you all again, and meeting you Finny, but I'm over today so I'm gonna bury myself in amongst sheets and blood," I sigh and walk into Klaus's room. As I walk into the bathroom and start to undress, there's a knock at the door. I growl lowly, "what?"
"Just checking up on you," Bekah's voice echoes from behind the door, "figured you might of wanted some girl time?" She asks. "I am naked so be warned when you enter," I sigh as I start to lower myself into the bath tub.
"Oh please. I'm joining you in the bath," Rebekah states as she walks into the room with only a robe on. "I brought blood too!" She smiles. "Thank you Bekah, I really appreciate you doing this," I smile as she lets the robe hit the floor and gets into the bath with me. "What are sisters for?" She smiles back at me as she hands me a glass of red liquid.
"So what's happening? Why are you upset?" Rebekah asks as she leans her head back onto the tub. "My brothers are being idiots again," I sigh as I lean my head back too. "Is it this 'Elena Gilbert' I've heard so much about?" She questions. "Yeah, looks exactly like Katherine and has the same motives," I roll my eyes as I take a sip of my blood. "Disastrous," Bekah states. I nod my head and take another swig from my glass, "I don't know about you, but I think those boys need to be taught a lesson," Bekah lifts her head to look at me, "I agree Bekah," I smirk at her.
"Love bites, but so do I."
