Chapter 5

After a few hours of begging and almost using fake tears I go my mom to agree to help me sneak out of the house the next day for my lunch date with Ky. My mother just made me agree that she would get to meet him soon. So, that is why I am now sitting on my bed with all of my clothes surrounding me either on furniture or the floor.

"Mom!" I screamed. Oh, my god this is a disaster. I cannot go out with Ky naked.

My door suddenly slammed open and my mother was standing there half-dressed and crazy looking. "what the hell is wrong with you? Are you trying to give me a heart attack? What is so bad that you have to scream? Are you okay?" I just stare at her and motion around my room giving her the universal sign for 'isnt it obvious'.

"I have nothing to wear. I cant go out on a date if I have nothing to wear." I looked at her frantically while digging through a pile of clothes. My mother came over and started to search with me. We dug around in my clothing mess for about ten minutes when my mother finally said aha.

"What did you find?" I turn around and she has a black and white sundress that has cherry blossoms on it in her hands.

"What do you think? You could wear a cute pair of cow boy boots and maybe straighten your hair. Add a little bit of eye liner and mascara and you would be good to go." I thought it over before nodding and heading to the bathroom. When I came out my mother told me I looked very beautiful. Now it is time to enact our plan.

I open my window and climbed out. When I get the window back in place I hear my mother tell my dad that I cant go to training today because I'm a sick. I laugh to myself and take off in to the woods heading for the lake. I loose track of time and next thing I know I am at the lake. I know Ky is there since I my wolf is basically howling plus I can smell that amazing sent of his.

"Ky!" He turns towards me and I can feel the air leave my lungs as I meet his green eyes. I swear the world just disappears when he is around. Right now we are surrounded by people and all I can do is stare at his eyes. Its like they can look into my soul.

"You look beautiful. Are you ready to go Keeley?" I nodded at him telling him to lead the way.

We decided to walk to a little restaurant in town. To be honest I haven't even came to town since we have been here. I thought it was going to be some stupid little hick town but its actually really cute. The whole way to the restaurant me and Ky talked. One minute we would be asking each other a question and the next we would be in a debate about who is a better singer in bands we like. It is amazing to talk about everything and nothing at the same time.

By the time we make it to the restaurant and find a seat I know that is favorite color is silver. He loves to listen to country or pop music. He is 19 years old. He is in college a few towns over and he is studying to be a veterinarian which is kind of ironic if you think about it. He doesn't like clichés and his dog is actually a German Shepard.

"Keeley. What are your plans when you finish high school?" I look over at ky again just studying him for a second.

"Honestly I don't know. I never have thought about it because I never really thought that afer high school I would have a life. My family is very close knit and we like to stick together. You should have seen how mad my dad got when my sister left for college. He wouldn't talk to anyone for a week. But I guess if I had to choose something to do I guess it would be something where I feel free." I didn't realize what I had said till after it was out of my mouth. I know my dad is over protective but he has good reason to be. If it wasn't for all of these training sessions we do then one of his children could have died. If we didn't know how to protect ourselves then we wouldn't be able to go out and do anything. We are to valuable.
