A/N : A lot is gonna happen in this chapter !
* 4 months later *
I waved back at the taxi driver, as I let my bags rest on the ground.
My eyes travelled around observing my surroundings, taking in every little detail.
This place was beautiful and there was no doubt to that.
I slid my phone out of my pocket, dialling Caitlin's number.
As a few rings went by, a muffled respond could be faintly heard from the other line.
"Caitlin?"
"Yup!" She chirped happily from the other line.
"I'm here I don't see you" I said bobbing my head around in search as I wheeled my bags towards the luxurious hotel that laid in front of me.
"I'm on my way I'm inside the lobby right now. See you in a bit!" She said and with that the phone call ended.
I sighed as I took a seat on my suitcase, trying to rethink this entire plan.
It was the winter break, and it was unbearably cold in Canada, I had to get away.
As a solution, Caitlin planned a two week vacation in the Bahamas, where her mom, or 'my parents' should I say, will be accompaning us.
I can never really look at Caitlin's parents and call them my parents, I haven't been emotionally detached from my real parents yet.
I don't think I'll ever be able to look at Will and Sandi and say "Mom and Dad" it's just... infeasible?
I just don't see it.
On a completely different note, I've been doing horrible, now that Chaz is out of my life.
I've just decided to take a few days to reflect on what has happened in the summer.
And the fact that my parents are dead.
That poor excuse of a relationship, tore my senses away. It took away everything I've been building inside me for years.
The braveness.
But that relationship, it just...
It broke me.
It made me weak.
But I'm here to take it all back, and completely back.
"Hi!" A squeaky voice spoke behind me as the person it belonged to came leaping at me for a hug.
Caitlin had been acting strangely nice ever since things had ended horribly with Chaz.
Almost... Sympathetic?
I didn't even know she was capable of even having feelings.
"Hey... Caitlin" I said complimenting her back with the same, iron like hug I was receiving.
"Our rooms are already booked, Mom and Dad are in their rooms. This trip is going to be perfect! Oh and my friends will arrive soon" She beamed out of excitement, as she wheeled my bags along with me.
As she gave the elevator button a firm push, she turned all her attention at me.
For a few moments we just stood there, her looking at me, and me looking at her.
She cocked her head to the side, as she smiled still examining me.
"I am so happy your hair is back to normal, that blond- pink hair so did not suit you! And those rough cut ends! Disaster!" She shrieked, as a expression showing the utmost disgust took over her face.
